Hello bluesky 🫵 I'll start posting exclusively here for a while, let's see how it goes #pixelart

Here it would be the blue light coming from the back of the scene, which helps create more contrast with the background (and it looks all nice)

“Hungry for pixels” 🌿 – Tried out some rim lighting with this iconic #carnivorous #plant for today’s #pixel_dailies @pixeldailies.bsky.social #pixelart #art #mario

A pixel art rendition of the iconic Piranha Plant from Mario, with a red head covered in white spots, a wide-open mouth full of sharp teeth, and a curved green stem emerging from a pot. Rim lighting highlights the edges, giving it a vibrant and dynamic look.

“The Apothecary’s Nook: A Cozy Corner for Cures and Brews 🌿” – Finally finished up this piece from an old 2021 sketch. #pixelart #art

Pixel art of a medieval apothecary shop with a half-timbered structure and a moss-covered roof. A black cat is chasing a fly on the roof while smoke curls from the chimney. The shop's potion sign, marked with a red flask, hints at its purpose as a place for remedies. Window boxes with blooming flowers add charm, and the misty blue background shows the outlines of a village, complete with a church spire and faint silhouettes of other buildings.

“Parisian Charm” – I've always had a thing for mansard roofs! Might revisit this one someday, as it desperately needs a background and fluffier clouds (made around 2016) #pixelart #art

Pixel art of a Haussmannian-style building with wrought-iron balconies, large windows, and flower boxes. Two cats sit on the railings. The sky is bright blue with fluffy clouds, and there's a stop sign and a parked red car in the foreground

Brownstone-inspired building, though the background feels a bit lacking in hindsight (created as practice around 2016) #pixelart #art

Pixel art of a brownstone building with large windows, a rooftop water tower, and a cat sitting on the roof. The building is surrounded by a metal fence, and there's a power pole with cables beside it. The background features a bright blue sky with fluffy clouds

“Cozy Nights in the Winter Cabin” – I kinda want to live here! (made for Pixel Dailies in ~2021) #pixelart #art

Pixel art of a snow-covered cabin in the woods at night. The windows glow warmly with light, and smoke rises from the chimney. A crescent moon and stars fill the sky, with dark pine trees surrounding the scene.

“Golden Hour Glow" – What can I say, I like sunsets, pretty buildings, and cats! #pixelart #art #sunset

Pixel art of a pastel-colored apartment building with balconies. The left side is pink, and the right side is cream-yellow. There are small plants and a cat on the roof, with abstract decorations on the balconies. The background shows a skyline of distant buildings under a soft sky.

“Twilight at the Forgotten Chapel”, because who doesn't like a sunset in the desert? (originally for Pixel Dailies “funeral” theme) #pixelart #art #sunset

Pixel art of an old chapel with a cross, standing alone at sunset. A grave and a silhouetted figure are in the foreground, with a warm, gradient sky fading from orange to purple
