12 in all before they stopped. Then we saw mushroom clouds shooting up into the sky far beyond the treeline and we braced for the blasts that we knew were coming. Who did this? Was it Putin making sure no one would ever live there again or was it Trump doing the same? Both seemed plausible.

And everything was blurry and red for a while. The shelling stopped but we stayed hunkered down for a while. There was some rumbling off in the distance. We couldn't tell what it was. Then there was a blinding flash of light, a couple seconds later another, then another.

when we started taking mortar fire. everyone took cover behind whatever was there. Trees, fire hydrant, some parked car. Only one shell landed anywhere near us though and some shrapnel hit the soldier in front of me. Some of his blood went into my right eye

Had a dream last night that I was a war correspondent embedded with an infantry squad of mixed ex army rebels and Ukrainian troops, moving through the suburbs east of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The city had been taken. Mostly everyone evacuated long ago. We were moving up a hill, along a street

I'm in the US and I ordered lenses for my valve index from VR Optician years ago. They arrived fast and work brilliantly. I also ordered again a few years later because my prescription had changed. If I do get a steam frame I'll get my lenses from them again.
