Where do you get your thermal pads from? I have been wanting to replace them on all my consoles but the pads vary in thickness and sizes. Do you buy a big piece and cut it into the right sizes? What about when the thicknesses of the pads vary? Gamecube comes to mind when I think of thermal pads.

Oops, I saw the answer to my question in the thread! I did all the same stuff with my PS1 I just didn't put the 3D print enclosure in mine. I will have to do that! The IGR is also super handy with the XStation I did that with mine as well!

I chose the 35mm to take pictures of smaller objects up close like my game consoles that I mod that you can see in my page a bit. Then I got the 50mm for more cosplay photography! I really love that bokeh effect so I chose f1.8 for both. Like this random photo I took haha.

Haha of course you talked to him. I bought a Canon EOS RP with a RF 50mm f1.8 lens and a 35mm f1.8 with Image Stabilization last year in February to learn photography but I haven't really touched it much and don't know too much yet about photography but I would love to learn!

For regular NTSC SNES's I heard the video (and maybe audio) quality varies depending on the model you have. I also heard some models may need modifications to help with RGB outputs/syncing? Where can I find info on this kind of stuff? I would like to learn more about it and make my Snes better!

I must be the only person to mod a Japanese Power Shovel controller for different types of controls. I ordered a PS1 Power Shovel controller from Ebay and the first thing I did was take it apart and add a switch to switch between ISO ("excavator controls") and SAE ("backhoe controls").

Or when the Xbox One first came out and some folks referred to it as "XBO" XBox One = XBO Then the Xbox One X came out and people realized the acronym would be: "XBOX" so they couldn't use that or it would confuse people referring to the original Xbox. XBox One X = XBOX 🫪🫪🫪

Those are the words of an angel right there. Playing games on a CRT with Component/SCART is on a whole new level. Here is a pic of my NES after I RGB modded it on a Sony Trinitron CRT. I highly recommend investing in a decent Component cable and getting a DOL-001 Gamecube to use on the CRT!

Wow, for a while I was annoyed because when I scrolled down on peoples profiles including my own the top banner would stay stuck at the top half of my screen giving me only the bottom half to scroll and see posts on a person's profile. It's a bug! Clearing the Cache on the app fixed it instantly! 🥳

I switched to using the Chipquik no clean flux from this older brown stuff that left a mess and I haven't turned back. I still find chip quik to be some of the best flux.
