Quite possibly..
But saying that, last time I had a main board death we kinda future proofed the build with a decent (by no means "gamer", the board isn't even overclockable) Ryson 5 3600 I think... and still using my 10 y/o GTX1660ti gpu and no problems with 3K 60 fps on the few games I play.
