I love this paper I wrote at some point in elementary school lol

Turtle

Turtles, Turtles
They crawl slowly
Across the ground
Up and Down hills.

They hide in their shell
When something scares them,
Pop!
In a safe, hard shelter.

They are nice and friendly
Unless it is a snapping turtle
That may bite you in the leg
And leave you with pain on the ground.

This is my first digital artwork I've made this year! I recently played through Cubenen Gardens: Befriend, and wanted to make a drawing based on my favorite monster design from the game: Helioscopter!

I talked to the Heracross first, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but then I talked to the Frosmoth, and noticed right away... "Oh! That's like--" and then the realization struck. I love this nod to an exploration team of another universe!

An NPC Frosmoth is being talked to, saying "Hello. We're Frosmoth." There are two other NPCs, a Ribombee and a Heracross, with the Frosmoth and them as a part of an exploration team named "Team Serpentjaw". There are parallels with these Pokémon and their characteristics that are similar to a certain other game's exploration team... but surely it's just a coincidence, right?

Been playing Kirby Air Riders across the last several weeks as a "pick up and play for a few minutes" game, and today I both saw the true ending of Road Trip and completed my first checklist!

It's also where I experienced the only shiny encounter I've ever had in a mainline Pokémon game up to this point, as when I was replaying Sapphire 8-10 years ago, one of the invisible Kecleon here was a shiny! (Old picture of it from around then, don't know where the GBA SP I use is currently)

I came across this on accident, and it's reminding me that I should try these little games that were on the Pokemon website in the future

If you're fascinated by electrical circuits, puzzle games, or both, you can't miss Joltik's Super Circuit game! The funny-looking bug Pokemon has a stimulating challenge in store for you. Are you smart enough to ace this puzzle game? There's only one way to find out!

The game consists of a single round, where Joltik challenges you to create 15 matches. It's up to you to accomplish this goal while scoring as many points as possible. No matter what, you'll have a ton of fun enjoying the arcade-style game, completed by atmospheric music!

Luckily, you don't need to know anything about electricity or own any tools! Your mouse is the only tool you'll need to ace this puzzle challenge. First, look at all the red, green, and blue power sources on the sides of the four-by-four grid. Your goal is to connect two same-colored sources using the wires on the 16 tiles.

How can you create connections? It's easy! Simply click on two adjacent tiles to switch their places. This is how you can arrange the tiles to create paths between two red, green, or blue power sources.

Try to form multiple circuits at once to get even more points. Besides, the more tiles you include in one electrical circuit, the better your final score will be. Therefore, try your best to make smart moves!

You can glance at the number on the left side of the screen to check how many circuits you still need to accomplish your goal! Right under it, you can check the three colored meters that show how many electrical circuits of a color you've formed. Once all three bars fill up, you'll enter Charge Mode.

The Charge Mode is a timed round that changes the game! Namely, the color of the energy sources doesn't matter! Can you use all 16 tiles to create circuits before the time runs out?

At the end of the game, you'll find out how well you did! If you try to use as many panels and form as many circuits as possible, you'll surely reach the top of the leaderboard. Besides, you also have the chance to earn impressive trophies that will bulk up your score.

You're going to have a lot of fun with Joltik while developing your intelligence and puzzle-solving skills!

A potentially less or more minuscule thing, look at one of these four pillars compared to the rest of them It's fun to learn new things about stuff you know a lot about, even little details such as these that ultimately have no impact and are just interesting little quirks

Never knew about this small model oversight in MKWii until now (most of the ones I have known about are ones I've heard brought up by others, this one I found out about when opening the model for Dry Dry Ruins in Blender, and I thought it was an error with importing it at first)

I'm curious how characters with big noses, such as Yoshi here, deal with the challenge of looking down at something in front of them. His view here is definitely obstructed haha

I had 10 finished attempts across ~45 minutes, but the second one (pictured) is my favorite. The one thing I would change about it is how the end is done, but this one turned out the best overall in my opinion!

I was deleting a bunch of dumped texture files I didn't need, and one of them randomly caused an error the first time trying to delete it, saying "The file exists" ...huh?
