Damn. Got me teary-eyed during a commercial break during the Chiefs game.

You guys want to hear a short but adorable story that happened right in front of me at the baggage claim in NYC yesterday? I wasn't part of it and there are bits I didn't catch but holy crap, I can't stop thinking about it.

Absolutely stoked about that Arrow 4K UHD “Logan’s Run” announcement. That was my number two most wanted after “Excalibur” and now I’ll have both. Arrow out there doing the Lord’s work. #filmsky

I don’t love all his movies, but I’m rooting for Zack Snyder. He’s been through so much and he seems like such a thoughtful, empathetic guy. I hope his next movie is good and I’ll be seeing it just because I like who is as a human.

Me too. Is Golden Flicker one of those AI channels? I can never tell. I don’t think it is.

The Midnight’s version of “Tonight, Tonight” is phenomenal. Honestly so good.

I know dinosaurs had feathers but damnit I grew up on the scales version and that’s what I want in my dino flicks. Despite that, The End of Oak Street was a pretty decent night at the movies.

There’s an awesome Grateful Dead series on NPR if you’re so inclined.

I missed “Masters of the Universe” in the theater. I was in the Dominican Republic that week. So I’m low key stoked it’s dropping on Prime tomorrow.

Man I loved “The Odyssey.” A mean Nolan is kind of singular.

In the morning I rush to work. Shower. Coffee. Breakfast. Drive. Desk. It’s just momentum and auto pilot, and I should be more mindful for sure. But I can hit my desk and realize, I don’t feel good. Like maybe I’m sick and should have stayed home. It just takes me one hour to process this.

USA World Cup game tomorrow night, Knicks game the night after. I usually bemoan the end of NFL season but man there a lot of good stuff to watch. I’m not a huge NBA fan (or soccer for that matter) but you can’t deny the drama. Weekend sorted.

I picked these up on my morning bike ride! Four bucks. I was riding past a yard sale and I saw some DVDs. I brake for physical media! #filmsky

Two DVDs. Dracula Untold and V the miniseries.

Today was a hell of a day. Nonstop PCI audit meetings and Azure issues. But you know what? It’s still new Star Wars movie week, so who cares? Bring on Thursday! #StarWars

Pro tip: If you want to feel like a quasi celebrity and have a bunch of middle aged men stop you and say hi, wear a KISS hoodie into a Lowe’s on a Saturday morning. #KISSArmy PS I’m a middle aged man and do this too.

When I was a kid I used to clip movie ads out of the newspaper and put them in a photo album. I’m an old nerd. #filmsky

Me too! I’m ready for some Star Wars on the big screen again.

I’m convinced this dude is one of the best TV directors, if not directors, of all time. He directed A LOT of HIGHLANDER. But I’m scared to look up his IMDB. I hope he had a long and fruitful career. But I would hate to see he didn’t. Anyway, what a talent. #filmsky #highlander #high

So lately, after some edibles, I have taken to watching HIGHLANDER THE SERIES. It’s very 90s but watching it high is bliss. I’ve started noticing directors. If there’s a cool shot with no cuts or cool framing before the credits, I wonder if this is a Dennis Berry jam. And last night, it was.

I can hardly recommend getting up every Saturday morning and watching a movie. It's the closest thing you'll get to the rush of watching Saturday morning cartoons as a kid. Instead of being jacked up on sugar cereal, you're jacked up on coffee. It's bliss. You deserve it.

If Danhausen from the WWE was around when I was a kid, that would have been my whole identity. I wonder if kids are still little weirdos today?

Over the weekend I got CSN&Y’s 4 Way Street, the 1984 DUNE soundtrack and Counting Crow’s August and Everything After on vinyl and this is the first day this week I’ve been able to work from home. And let me tell you, it’s been glorious.

I just finished “Hercule Poirot's Christmas” last night and it was a blast. It had been a bit since since I’ve read a Christie novel and I loved it. But now I need to decide if I want to read another Christie book or finally start “Empire of Silence” as was the plan.

Man, I thought they nailed the Stranger Things finale. By far, the best episode of season 5. Yeah maybe it had a “Return of the King” ending, but I think it needed it. And that last shot, so sad, so good. I loved it. #StrangerThings
