Going through old footage and reliving my shiny reactions is making me regret taking my hunts totally off-camera. Highly recommend recording your shiny hunts, even if no one else ever sees them

My timeline is just "hey check out the new magic: the gathering set" next to "elon musk is reportedly creating the torment nexus"

You could probably rewrite "We Didn't Start the Fire" with just things that happened in the last 12 months

Posting anti-fun cards? Here's my number 1 Please just wrath me like a normal person, this is way more demoralizing

Is there a way to search scryfall for just cards like this? These old beast (or beast-adjacent) creatures with one-word names These rule and I want to see all of them

How to filter out AI Images in Google Image Search. Sharing this with my students so I figured I'd also share it with everyone here. Hopefully this image is still relevant given Google's changes. Save this on your computer or phone and refer to it as needed.

HOW TO FILTER OUT AI IMAGES IN GOOGLE IMAGES

When you type something add the following minus keywords: -ai, -prompt

Since AI movement increased highly in 2022, use "before:" like before:2021 (VERY effective)

The following keywords will affect and should decrease amounts of AI imagery appearing on your search.

Create, not scrape!

You might think of me differently for this but this card can be really fun (not in commander though don't worry)

As the current era of magic trudges along it becomes more and more clear that while the themes or IPs or whatever that the designers get handed right be terrible, they can pull it off. The first one was Neon Dynasty. The cyberpunk ninja set should not have been believable or cohesive, but it was.

Idk how y'all play magic like how do you see this shit and go "This is normal and fine, so cards with this symbol are legal in this format but only for X amount of years but not this format but it's in the same pack or a pack with the same name. This is fine, magic the gathering makes sense."

I'm not trying to flame this person specifically because it's super common, they just got me thinking about it Pile-shuffling does not sufficiently randomize your deck. A properly randomized deck will give you hands like this sometimes, no matter how much you shuffle. You were correct not to.

Alright it's time to start using this account for Canadian Highlander propaganda. I'm gonna spread the word. I have a couple decks, but my main one by far is mono-white death & taxes. It might be my favorite deck ever, in any format. It's the peak of what I like doing in Magic.

I've been on bluesky for only a couple days and I've gotten more interaction than I have on Twitter this year. And I'm a nobody.

There's a phenomenon in the pokemon community where a few years after a game releases a bunch of people will start saying how it's actually the best in the series, even if it was hated on launch. I guess it happens in Magic too.

I've been following the Magic: the Gathering feed and I love how many new/casual players I've been seeing. Just people taking excitedly about their non-meta standard deck, or sharing their first foils or whatever. This community at its core is great.

This was the first card I owned. I saw it in the case of a game store that doesn't exist anymore, and I needed to have it. To this day I don't know what about it spoke to me, but i have this jerk to thank for introducing me to my favorite game.
