I took this challenge personally. I used to love this game, tried so hard to get the highest achievable block which is 131,072, but only ever got to the second biggest, which is 65,536. Don't remember my highest score though lol. Will probably come back to this tomorrow to see how high I can get 😅

A D&D 5e (2014) supplementary ruleset that uses Magical Bugs as a means to cast spells. Part of a commission work for Drew-Makes-Games.

The Bearbug has the following ability:
***Appearance -*** Bearbugs are large and hairy tick-like insects, with 6 legs and large bulbous hinds. Bearbugs are approximately the size of a standard copper piece.
:
When a Bearbug is consumed live by another creature, that creature doubles in size for the next minute, to a maximum size of large, and becomes covered in hair. Additionally, target creature becomes enraged for the duration, gaining the following benefits:

* You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.

* When you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you gain a +2 bonus to the damage roll.

* You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

There is no saving throw for this effect and the effect is immediate.

Happy #WIPWednesday everyone! Excited to announce my next installment of Magical Bugs! will release Friday (: Here's another preview of one of my favorites from this set, the Faerie Dragonfly! Now get in here & show me your cool stuff! What is everyone else working on that you want to show off?

A preview of the next set of Magical Bugs! for D&D Fifth Edition by Reforged Existence, with the following ability:

When a Faerie Dragonfly is consumed live by another creature, that creature immediately exhales a cloud of Fey energy in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw, or for 1 minute, the target can’t take reactions and must roll a d6 at the start of each of its turns to determine its behavior during the turn:

1–4. The target takes no action or bonus action and uses all of its movement to move in a random direction.

5–6. The target doesn’t move, and the only thing it can do on its turn is make a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.

The spell effect is immediate upon consuming.

For my second #Febrewary addition, I'm gonna double back to the day I missed, with my take on what a healing cantrip could look like! While not directly a cantrip, this spell is designed in a way to provide healing, while having a specific use where it could be cast as a cantrip! #D&D #Homebrew

A D&D Homebrew spell which is a 3rd level spell that provides 4d8 healing, at the cost of the casters own HP. While below 10HP, the caster can cast this spell as a cantrip to provide double healing to their target, at the cost of falling unconscious with 2 failed death saving throws.

Shoutout to @here-and-there-dnd.bsky.social for this idea to participate in, but for my first addition to #Febrewary, the Tempered Blade! My take on a "cursed" weapon that hates to Crit! Deal out massive damage according to CR, but be weary, for a critical hit punished the wielder! #D&D #Homebrew

The Tempered Blade, a D&D fifth edition Homebrew by Reforged Existence, that has the following properties:

This legendary weapon was crafted by a cruel artisan to always strike true, yet cursed by its own creator to punish those who yield such power. This weapon, when used to make a successful attack, will always deal static damage directly proportionate to a creatures CR.
:
For creatures with a CR of:
* **CR 1 or less -** This weapon deals 10 damage on a successful attack
* **Between CR 2 through 5 -** This weapon deals 20 damage on a successful attack
* **Between CR 6 through 10 -** This weapon deals 30 damage on a successful attack
* **Between CR 11 through 15 -** This weapon deals 45 damage on a successful attack
* **Between CR 15 through 20 -** This weapon deals 60 damage on a successful attack
* **Over CR 20 -** This weapon deals 80 damage on a successful attack
:

However, whenever either a *Critical Miss* or *Critical Hit* is rolled on an attack made with this weapon, the roll is treated as an automatic failure. Additionally, the creature wielding this weapon will be overcome by the curse of this weapon:

***On a Critical Hit -*** The wielder immediately takes *necrotic* damage equal to half of their hp total, rounded down, and becomes *stunned* until the start of their next turn

Additionally, this weapon *Critical Hits* on a 19 or 20.

***On a Critical Miss -*** The wielder immediately takes 10 points of damage and the weapon is flung out of the wielders hand 30 feet in a random direction.

Additionally, this weapon *Critical Misses* on a 1 or 2.
