We're just under a month away from the release of Stardust of Morgrad! Please stay tuned for updates as we start to bring things together! #booksky #authorsky #writersky #scifi #indiebooks

A text with "one month" and a picture of the book

192

The GOOD THING IS! The book is all done and ready to go. It's just gotta be uploaded. But writing is one thing and marketing is another. So I need to get back onto it and sharpish. Basically: You'll see more posts now I hope! AND a proper book to be hype for! Thank you for your understanding!

El Plan
NEW RELEASE DAY: 28th SEPT

This gives me time to:
Sort final publishing and proofing
Sort pricing
Get paid (to cover initial pub costs and bonus items)
PROPERLY MARKET
Balance things with my other workloads.

Now with only £30 to my name for the forseeable I've gotta start playing things very carefully. So I took the decision to move Morgrad's release to september so that I can take the next month to do some proper marketing!

The 2026 from hell
personal drama
the viva to end all vivas
girlguiding choosing TERFdom
financial turmoil

the summer of hell
the uk is on fire
gig work needing priority
phd correction hell
summer commitments
mental health
BUT ALL IS NOT LOST

110

Explanation: Admittedly maybe a summer release when I get seasonal-depression in summer heat (and BOY did the UK turn on the heat this year) was a bad plan but the best laid plans of mice and all that. I've had a rough 2026 with personal issues, the PhD viva from hell and then a long summer issues

The Good News

The book is written, edited, formatted, fixed for KDP, cover ready and pretty much set to go
I passed my phd despite everything
book bonuses (bookmarks and stickers) are ready for ordering)

ANNOUNCEMENT Unfortunately Stardust of Morgrad is taking a small delay! TL;DR - I hit a lot of personal issues in short succession that meant I couldn't prioritise marketing things. So we're bumping it a month! NEW DATE: 28th SEPTEMBER 2026! Thread 👇

Publishing delay
Aka: Revy had the 2026 from hell and the summer from hell.

It's coming along! It's getting close! In the run up to the release of Stardust of Morgrad I'm assembling an ARC team! If you'd like to sign up for the chance to join the team - and get an early access plaintext ebook for review - then please fill in the form! forms.gle/86VKbygdYSQV...

Hello my name is Revy and if I have Jeff Wayne's musical score of War of the Worlds playing while I'm formatting I tend to go a little bit joyously insane

000

I will also now make much more effort to keep this account active as we hype up Morgrad!

000

Tl:dr buy physical for my cool chapter header art

000

Kind of have to reformat my book entirely for the ebook (c’est la vie) and it’ll be more plaintext than the print one will be.
