The one on the left comes in box like this, I painted her gold and swapped hair/face. Eliene Elierica The right one is mostly standard 30mm Spinatio Royal Knoght, but I added the wings.

#VolosynthFiles 001 Subject: REVR-E Role: Conductor Grand Finale Form Artwork by @midrava.bsky.social (Human)

A white and black android with bright green dot eyes, bowtie, leafy fairy wings with circuit-like spines, wearing a white tailcoat with black and glowing green accents inside, posed as though it is conducting a symphony with one hand raised and a baton lowered while flying

I still can't get over how cool this gift artwork of AR1A is from @midrava.bsky.social #volosynth #robotgirl

A closeup of AR1A's glowing orange eyes with squares and black backgrounds. She has gray metallic skin and dark eyebrows and lashes.

Get a draft stopper under your door, cover your door with a thicc blanket that covers the cracks that you can pin up when you need to access the doorway, avoid products labeled "acoustic" because it lets companies jack the price up

I highly recommend Coco Nut, she's great, she put this Dia De Muertos art together for me with my character AR1A the Volosynth! #vtubers #oc

A gray robot girl with black and glowing orange hair and eyes, adorned with marigolds, dressed in white and red, with a sugar skull Calavera painted face, doing a traditional Mexican dance in a darkened street setting with papel picado decorations.

I'd like to introduce one of my main characters for a story I'm working on. AR1A, a Volosynth from the same Solarpunk future I am from. She's still in the process of figuring out what and why she is, but stay tuned if you'd like to find out 🦋🧡⚙️ Art is by @midrava.bsky.social

What is a Volosynth? It's a #solarpunk term a friend and I came up with to replace "robot" and "android" in a story I'm working on.

A black slide with neon writing that says:
AR1A & The Symphony Of Souls
Terminology & Lingo
“Synthro” Short for Sunthrope - “Constructed Human”
A gender-neutral Solarpunk replacement term for Robot, Android, or Automaton.
This term is derived from the Greek root words for Synthetic “Suntithenai” or “Synth (place together) and “Anthropos” (Human) to form a new, more compassionate name. It is specifically meant to replace both “Android” and “Gynoid” to escape sexist connotations of the later, as well as to move beyond the problematic etymology of the word “Robot” which comes from the Czech word “Robota” (“forced labor”, serf, slave)

“Volosynth” Short for Volosunthrope - “Free-Willed Constructed Human”
A variation of Sunthrope designated to units that have been granted or observed to naturally exhibit free will or voluntary acts. Adds the prefix “Volo” (Medieval Latin: “I Wish”). Known colloquially as “Volosynths” for short.

Jowol, you have something in common with this OC of mine, AR1A. But it's a secret... A Solarpunk Volosynth (free-willed robot) who takes on the role of a psychopomp like La Catrina, guiding and freeing lost and imprisoned souls to the afterlife. Artist is Midrava
