I got a Lego train set at a thrift store for $10. And the train station at Canadian Tire for $30. I added a few tracks and switchers and now have a functional Lego train set.

UUA -GA is online this year, with an in person component. I took advantage of being so close and drove down the Louisville KY. There is some lovely art down by the river…

A street mural: abstract art- whiskey bottle, horses, roses, and other iconic items depicted with bright colors and pleasing integration.

A street mural: Ohio River, with waterfall and large images of white and red roses cover what looks like a municipal utility building of some kind.

Street art. Five concentric hoops arch over the sidewalk with the words Bourbon District written yellow on the bricks in front them. They form a barrel like arch one can walk through.

I built a small deck off the back slider. The back stairs were a little treacherous. I’m petty happy with how it came out.

The back sliding glass door with a 4x6 deck and three steps.

From inside the house a view of 4x6 deck.

I love my house— this gorgeous Kestrel came to visit and hung out on the fence for a long time…

A Public Service Announcement:

ICE is asking people to quit calling its hotline to report an undocumented girl named Anne Frank hiding in the attics of Republican lawmakers.

Please don’t call 1-866-DHS-2-ICE (1-866-346-2423) for this reason or to report pregnant foreigners seeking shelter in your local manger.

I finally got out and took a walk at Point Pelee National Park. I got rained on, but I got to see this gorgeous rainbow… (there was a double, but I didn’t get a good picture.)

A picture of a large green marshy area with trees in the far back ground. A bright rainbow (including the violet spectrum) crosses the image, arching from the upper left to lower right.

The congregation I am now serving founded in 1880- one of the oldest Universalist Churches in Ontario. Stop by and see us at 10:30am on Sunday.

I finally got out on the Lake. It’s a very very big lake. (Lake Erie)

I get some pretty lovely sunsets here on the north west shore of Lake Erie.

My new shirts arrived. 🙂

Three T-shirts draped over the back of a plush chair- LEFT light blue with white writing: truth over tyranny est. 1636 Cambridge MA. MIDDLE light green with rainbow silhouettes of the Sesame Street muppets/characters says Resist above. RIGHT medium blue with white writing: radicalized by basic decency.

I finally took a walk down to the marina. It’s really quite beautiful. There is a beach a bit farther down as well. There appears to be a lovely promenade from the marina to the beach. I think I’m gonna like it here. ❤️
