New character. He doesn't have a name yet. I'm being picky. I'll figure out a name for him soon! I love how both he and his outfit turned out. I really wanted a lot of detail in this piece. #OC #OCSky #Originalcharacter #artbyrevisionlightningarts #digitalart #disabledartist

A pale man with ruddy cheeks and chest. He has blue eyes and white hair and bronze or copper antlers with heavy patina. He also has tattoos on each arm: roses on the right, abstract flame on the left. He is wearing a sheer undershirt, a flowing overshirt (both in shades of blue and purple), a brownish corset, and grey pants with gold details. He also has several pieces of jewelry hanging from his corset, beads across his chest and depending from his antlers, and wears a piece of larimar or something similar depending from a chain of crescent moon links.

this one might be my favourite of the artfight season and it's MOSTLY because of the lighting but also i hand drew those fishnets and i think they turned out great 😂

Finally drew my #OC, Sashlahime, again. It's been a while. She is always a bit fussy to draw, but I felt up to the challenge this time. I've had this #originalcharacter for almost thirty years now. #artbyrevisionlightningarts

Bust up digital portrait of a pale woman with reddish brown hair and silvery armor with golden trim. Her long hair is braided and her grey green eyes are focused on the viewer. Behind her is a painterly background in shades of red and orange.

Brand new tiefling rogue for #tieflingtuesday!! His name is Pyr, short for Empyrean. He's for a written campaign in my dear friend's world. I plan to have him become a warlock due to circumstances. He used to be a paladin so he's had a life so far. #OC #originalcharacter #artbyrevisionlightningarts

Digital artistic character sheet for a character named Empyrean Li. The background looks like stained paper or parchment and there are two bubbles of info, one with his name, species, class, and level in it and another with his attribute scores. As for Pyr himself, he is an indigo skinned tiefling with bright magenta eyes and darker countershading on his tail and horns (with a note stating it also goes partway up his back). He is wearing an open white shirt that shows a dark star sort of scar on his chest. He also wears a pink corset and shiny golden and grey pants, purple lace up leggings, and purple and pink boots. He has long blond hair put up in a fancy net at his neck. He holds a crystal dagger (his mentor's gift to him) and a ball of fire that is various shades of blue and pink.

Had a fucking AI software account start following me. Wtf about me could possibly make them think I want anything to do with their bullshit? Let me make this clear. I want nothing to do with AI and if you do, stay far away from me.

and basically bought a cart from her that she was going to throw away, set up his own traveling shop where he sells musical instruments he makes, and he travels the country he lives in, selling instruments, singing, playing guitar, and offering guidance to people needing to get through the woods.

Oh I should include his personality and such. He's very gentle but resolved to help those he cares about. He's a bard/warlock. His mother was a faerie queen before world events meant she has lost her title (long story) but is now a very powerful merchant. He is making his own way in the world (cont)

Revi (Comms Closed, Waitlist closed) @revisionlightning.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Oh I don't currently but I can describe what he likes to wear? I might also be able to get a sketch done in the next couple days. But he wears very soft, flowy, layered clothing, either in earth tones or in jewel tones, depending on where he's going. The exception is he tends to wear knee high boots

Congrats on 500! That is so awesome! Sadly, I don't have any full body art of my new version of Jae yet. He has cicada wings!

Digital art of a blue haired faerie with stars in his hair and eyes like nebulae. He has pale cream skin with pink and golden highlights and pink and gold antlers. His pointed ears have long adornments at their tips that fade to pale green. He wears a green overshirt, red vest and black tunic, along with a malachite themed plectrum pendant. His cheeks and neck both have chitinous adornments.

Digital portrait art of two versions of an OC. The first is a pink haired Miqo'te with scars. The second is a blue haired Daggerheart faerie with chitin, anteannalike ears, and crystaline antlers.

Watercolor half body/knees up painting of a fairy in dancing silks. She has red hair, blue eyes, medium pale skin with purple freckles, and it is unclear if her wings are decorative or really a part of her. They are golden green. The silks she wears are blue and shimmer with various other colors. They are also vaguely translucent. She also wears a belt with several peridot cabochons on it in various sizes and shapes. The background is plain ivory paper.

Digital painting of a woman with red hair, pale skin, and green eyes. She is wearing a white blouse, redbrown trousers, a brown corset, bracers, and boots. She holds a flute and stares wistfully into the distance. Behind her, a castle and a well sit on hills with small trees.

More Pyr art, though I didn't get his body type quite right in this. I think this is more what he aspires to. #OC #originalcharacter #artbyrevsionlightningarts

Digital painting of a nude tiefling. His long blond hair is down and frames a light indigo skinned body. The background is several teal crystals.

A digital watercolour style illustration of a warm skinned masc, with lavender hair loosely plaited to the side and gold eyes. They're wearing a purple conductors suit with gold accents and have stained glass-like fairy wings. They're slightly floating in a grassy patch of with little wildflowers around them, magical notes are floating around them, animating instruments to play.

And I think that's honestly why I don't post a lot. Why work tirelessly? Why make myself sad? I tried that for a long long time.

Revi (Comms Closed, Waitlist closed) @revisionlightning.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

And I'm absolutely not railing against artists who can do this here. Just the way things work on most social media, even on bluesky, doesn't work for me?

Revi (Comms Closed, Waitlist closed) @revisionlightning.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

This feeling that I have to either use all my spoons for promotion and connection or have next to zero engagement is... It isn't worth it. I don't have enough spoons for that to rake anything less than all of them.

100

Revi (Comms Closed, Waitlist closed) @revisionlightning.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I hate that being bad at social media promotion makes me feel like I'm a bad artist. I know it isn't true, but getting so little engagement sucks. I do not want to play the social media game. It has so few returns even when trying my hardest. And illness makes consistency impossible.

#artfight revenge for @reejindeed.bsky.social of Mikey dancing with my Senra. This is my last artfight piece of the year, meaning I managed five for my first year doing artfight! Given how busy I've been and how much pain I've been in, I think I did really well!

A colored sketch of a tall, redheaded, masculine figure with green, blue, and yellow punk clothes with black belts and boots and a spiky hairstyle with a braided rat tail. He is dancing with a feminine faerie with blue hair dressed in a simple pale pink dress and holding an ocarina. They are surrounded by music notes and notation.
