Okay so. I have a #kaeluc / #luckae / #kaeluckae (rated T) WIP and need validation to finish it 🙏 After reminiscing about Golden Apple Archipelago in Alice's memory bubble, they go on a proper vacation together and... some very cliché things happen

The bedroom must be upstairs. As Diluc climbs the steps, a peculiar feeling of something being off creeps up his spine. And then he opens the door.

Surrounded by delicate curtains and candelabras waiting to be lit, in the middle of the room stands a massive bed. A singular massive bed. Not two reasonably-sized ones. Whoever prepared the suite has even scattered some flower petals atop the sheets.

Diluc hears Kaeya’s faux scandalized gasp and does not have the strength to look him in the eye.

Diluc is only sort of listening. When the waitress brings Kaeya’s drink, he reaches for it first.

One sip is all he needs to analyze the flavor. He supposes he understands why Kaeya compared it to his new cider recipe, but the mead’s syrupy aftertaste is much stronger. And that’s despite it being balanced out with a hint of lime. Still, it does give him an idea: he could use slightly more honey and a tangier variety of apples next time. He puts the mug down in front of Kaeya.

“It’s quite sweet,” is all he says.
