my heart says i want to play with my scarvio ocs...they never really got the proper time to shine tbh 😔💔 i went back and forth so much on them that it feels so nice to finally be able to settle on something i like

i feel like smth clicked development wise for cobalt so i finished his design lol (finally)

my pokemon trainer oc, cobalt. he is a pale young man with side swept black hair and yellow eyes. he is wearing a modified white version of the long sleeved winter blueberry academy uniform. the major changes are the added dark blue thigh length leg coverings held in place by leg garters, one of them red and the other white. for accessories, he has a blue arm band with a flaming pokeball symbol on his upper left arm, and a long sword hanging by his right hip. he also has a blue newsboy cap on.

im trying to think of a way to combine uva & naranja academy together since i played both games but i’d prefer if there was only one academy in the setting…i contemplated making uva more academia oriented and naranja more practical/trades based 🤔 and bba is athletic focused.

unrelated but atm cobalt is the only character in the verse that openly carries a weapon (sword). i dont think pkg would have them bc they can fight w/o weapons just fine since they have powers…

it's really interesting what idea u latch on to if u only have 1 hour to put it out...my mind became fixated on a moment where kaist displays an honest emotion...a gratefulness mixed with heartbreak. he would only do so bc he knows they will never meet again...

i think the only problem with having trainers in verse now is i gotta think about other teams having trainers…like fackkk i only want to think about my special little guy 😔

i think champions are only well known in their own regions (some exceptions would be unova & galar champions bc the former are pushed to be international celebrities and the latter are sports stars) but amongst the league itself they know about members in other regions...

in all of this change, the character i'm most interested in exploring is four because he's the only one who has a prominent role in both verses...im glad i actually didn't mix the verses much lol it could have been way worse 😭

150

o|-< @reveritas.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

okk i updated it all in a way i like...tldr of the main difference is gameverse has trainers but ocverse is only pkg....i also see gameverse being more modern like the game ofc but i would like to pull the ocverse to be more apocalyptic fantasy 🤔

gonna do some major oc sorting…i think it’s best to divide my in game pkg from the random ones just bc i cannot combine the setting in a way i like lol 😭 i would have to sacrifice too much from both thats its better to be separate worlds entirely

for larger projects, personally i find it easier to see it thru if i work thru stages like i’ll make sure every piece is sketched out before moving on to line art and so on…

o|-< @reveritas.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

i was thinking zym likes steel types bc they’re strong ofc but also probably finds it interesting to work with the metal itself…like skarmory’s feathers or mawile’s teeth…etc…got me thinking about what if their mega accessories is made from their own body parts 🤔
