Watched 'Sinners' last night. Great movie and a force of directing. The more I think on it the more I might go back and watch it again #sinners

Morning reading - first Iron Man arc - I was really enjoying Iron Man in its last run but then all the Krakoa cross overs stifled it a bit. Hoping this first arc is fun as I know this one also moves into the OWUD event #ironman #marvelcomics #comicsky

Back home and catching up on One World Under Doom #2 Fantastic four being wild and entitled with what's occurred (understandable) and Doom being calm forward thinking and calculating although all full of grey really holds a mirror up to today. Not too on the nose and full of nuance #marvel #comicsky

What are peoples thoughts on the new Thunderbolts team? I like pretty much every member, but just not sure I'd have them as Thunderbolts

Finished up Wolverine Revenge this morning. While it was a reasonably fun read, it ended up being quite a strange inconsequential book. Expected a bit more from Hickman, the Red Band was once more a gimmick and it took too long between issues. Shame really #wolverine #marvelcomics #comicsky

Realised Wolverine: Revenge is all out, so that will be my afternoon reading. Couldn't bring myself to break the scam bags for Red Band though so will be reading digitally 😅 #xmen #wolverine #marvelcomics #comicsky #comics

Read: Living Hell 1-4 - Really fun series which tackled a few different themes/moods and handled them with aplomb. This could be fleshed out into a world very easily I believe - and maybe this would give us a bit more action when that comes up. Excellent read. #darkhorse #comics #comicsky

Morning reading. Finally getting around to "Living Hell" by Caitlin Yarsky. Enjoyed the first two issues, wasn't really sure what to expect but I am keen to continue. Seems to have good levels of heart and some good otherworldly business #comicsky #darkhorse #comics

Morning reading - Cosmic Ghost Rider by Phillips (2024) - Not my favourite incarnation of this character. I think it started with a lot of promise and then got a bit lost and muddled as it drew to a close. The art was OK, but would want more from action scenes #marvelcomics #comicsky #ghostrider

Catching up with Ahmed's Wolverine this morning. First 5 issues set out a nice premise and I am curious to see where the plot goes. Highlight for me so far has to be Leonard. I could happily take Logan and the Wendigo being the main thrust of this first arc #xmen #wolverine #comicsky #marvelcomics

Spoiler - Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing. I really enjoyed this anarchic and quite funny series. Rosenberg took it all different ways and the result was like a field trip with the Joker. Bonkers. #joker #batman #comicsky

Todays post work reading on Infinite is Hellblazer "Hard Time". Not read this since I first got the trade many moons ago and I love the story. I much prefer when Constantines magic isn't in your face, it gives him a much grittier edge #hellblazer #vertgo

Ultimate Wolverine #2 - a great second issue, I really enjoy the atmosphere it presents and also how it makes me dislike the Rasputins, two characters I usually really like. Hope it keeps the slow burn going and the text pages continue! #wolverine #marvel

Storm #5 - This book wasn't what I was expecting at all. Neither really a Storm story, nor a One World Under doom one. It did showcase Storm being piloted in essence by Eternity in its rivalry with Oblivion. I loved the art and Storms new look was great. Bad timing for Manhunt #storm #marvel

Weapon X-Men #1 - I found this to be the weakest of the 'One World' books so far. Some high points though - Thunderbird back in business and Cable done well. However Wolverine and Deadpool being a large part of the book left me a bit meh (they even included a joke about saturation) #xmen #marvel
