UPDATE: BC Wildfire has updated the the wildfire danger for Revelstoke and the surrounding area to moderate as of 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25. Forest fuels have been drying and surface fires are at an increased risk of starting. Revelstoke Mountaineer previously reported the danger level as low.
