I'll keep using mine as example... $2500CDN, to my door. It feels very 'robust'; more like a small motorcycle, to the point I'm putting more 'MC-like' tires, and brakes, on it. Methinks something like this would come close to your 'use-case', based on your location pics. Watch for trees.

May I suggest... It has as much torque as my new '72 Suzuki 500 twin did, and probably weights about 20% as much. There are, literally, hundreds of configurations by hundreds of manufacturers, so it shouldn't be too hard to find something appropriate. Same climate, same hills, different scenery.
