Also snagged a TRMNL to have a play with some eink displays. Anyway, that's it for my once a month check-in, hope you're all doing well 🙂

Getting my hands on a Riso printer so I can start exploring gen-art + riso print, but I started with a ray gun instead.

May 2025. I've stopped posting to SM, but it's not totally obvious & I still see new followers, so I figured I could handle posting 12 times a year, with ten photos from the last month, which was mainly... Keeping the studio tidy & designing pen holders.

Finished February’s journal page divider collage. Fun to noodle around on a Sunday, and only 12 times a year which is nice.

New @bantamtools.bsky.social ArtFrame, this is the larger A1/2436 version. What things should I include in the YouTube video (aside from how expensive it is)? #penplotter #drawingmachine

Hooking up Kitty, my AI PA to the Vestaboard, was either the best or worst decision I've made recently.

Ink number one, Sailor Yurameku Date Gokoro. "The Sea Howls From The West", is supposed to be grey, bleak and foggy. But as we all know, colours are hidden in those stormy skies and seas, so I'm trying to find out which inks work towards that. #penplotter

Emptied out the monitor-riser/bread-bin and there's a fair amount to sort out. Realising I need some smaller storage draws and better organising. #knolling

Just finished typing up the newsletter for tonight (scheduled for around an hour) and it’s not even newsletter week. Am doing holidaying wrong.

It’s alive!! Somehow I didn’t mess up anything (I don’t think) and it actually works. A cute little A6 desktop pen plotter; AxiDraw MiniKit 2. Would recommend as a holiday activity #penplotter
