Had a wonderful evening at Leatherhead Methodist singing carols old and new with the band at cafe carols yesterday. Love ced the way we journeyed through the Advent themes of hope, peace, love and joy as we worshipped. #carols #advent #christmas #cafe

Playing 'my new found friend' at a joint preachers and worship leaders meeting with our neighbouring circuit as we explore closer relationships between us. Lots of laughs, which is a good sign! #methodist #preaching #worship

A prayer of a procrastinating church leader as Advent & Christmas approach: Dear God, I've been asking but you've not given in yet, so maybe you will if I put it on Facebook: please add another month to the year between November and December. Amen. Ok Lord. I'll stop procrastinating.

An afternoon 'Anticipating Advent', preparing for a quiet day later this week. One of my favourite seasons of the year - which fights against the hustle and bustle and busyness of Christmas, life and ministry - and every year re-roots me as a disciple and follower of Christ.

Spent an afternoon at Leatherhead Methodist as we open for prayer and reflection to mark Transgender Day of Remembrance. This was a new thing for LMC, and for me, and just making the space available felt like it would be a witness in itself. I wasn't sure if anyone would come.
