An important update from Edinburgh bicycle

The past few months have been hugely difficult for Edinburgh bicycle.

Like many independent businesses we have faced enormous pressure from rising costs a challenging economy and a very difficult market. Despite everyone's best efforts we reached a point where the business had to be put into administration
The management team have worked extremely hard to put together an offer that means Edinburgh bicycle can continue saving jobs and keeping four shops open. Brunsfield Newcastle Edinburgh and Stirling.

Anyone care to guess how the comments went on this?

Hi wondering if anyone can help me my old Van that was declared sorn has been sat on these bit of grass for over a year.
Last week I've got clamped for having no tax. Is there anyway I can get my money back? I need to get it taxed within the next few days or lose my money.
I've not used the Van in well over a year has no MOT. I need to get it, MOT before I can tax it which not gonna be able to do in the time they have given me. If signed the Van over to my girlfriend ora family member Would This get me out of having tax it?

The furniture wasn't repositioned as soon as it was brought to their attention. It took three emails from me.

Following receipt of your email, I asked the district manager to carry out a further review of the seating area and compare its current positioning against the licensed plans for the premises. Having revisited the site, they have confirmed that the outdoor furniture had been positioned further out than intended. Their review identified that the plans attached to the licence do not clearly show all of the pillars in the area, and while some members of the team had been setting out the furniture correctly, this had not been consistently followed by newer members of the management team. Unfortunately, this discrepancy had not previously been identified. As soon as this was brought to their attention, the furniture was repositioned in line with the measurements specified, and the team has been reminded of the correct layout requirements. The district manager has also confirmed they will revisit the store to ensure the seating area continues to be set out in accordance with the approved plans going forward.

As noted in that email your feedback was shared with the store team for review. The team have since advised that the out furniture (start of highlighting) is positioned within the area designated under their outdoor seating licence (end highlighting) issued by the local council. They have also advised that to the best of their knowledge there is (start of highlighting) no designated cycle path within that area (end of highlighting)

The narrow bridge over the Metro lines on St James' Road, close to Gateshead Stadium Metro Station, has today been closed to traffic. The single lane bridge, which normally has two way traffic controlled by traffic signals, has a weight restriction of just 7.5 tonnes.
Unfortunately, several very large trucks and other HGVS have been witnessed using the bridge in recent days, including one HGV weighing over 40 tonnes more than five times the weight limit. This poses a risk to the safety of the structure, owned by Network Rail, and to the Metro line running below it. The drivers of these large vehicles appear to be attempting to divert from the closure of Park lane roundabout, but are not using the signposted diversion via Heworth which does not rely on weight restricted or height restricted routes. As a safety precaution, the bridge will remain closed for the remaining period that Park Lane roundabout is closed, which is due to finish on Friday 21st August. Pedestrians and cyclists can continue to use the bridge.
