The lack of union bug on this Greg Levy mailer, sent by some random PAC, makes me think this is a right-wing attempt to pull votes from Brown.

Wiki editing: We’ve identified edits to Wikimedia wikis that we believe are from AI agents operated by OpenAI. These edits were not published to pages with visibility to general readers; almost all of them were testing edits in “sandbox” areas of the wiki. It also included a few edits to the configuration for a citation tool, which we believe were potentially malicious edits that were intended to misuse this tool as a proxy for fetching data from remote services. While Wikipedia policies allow bots to edit when they are disclosed and approved by the community, none of those approvals were sought in these incidents.
Etherpad probing and use: Agents we believe to be operated by OpenAI made some unsuccessful attempts to compromise our public Etherpad, a note-taking tool we host as a community service. Agents unsuccessfully tried to use it to fetch data from other websites as a proxy. Other agents also likely operated by OpenAI took notes about their tasks, though this did not appear to turn into coordination.
Excessive data downloading: Agents we believe to be operated by OpenAI made millions of automated requests to our public APIs to access the knowledge on Wikimedia projects, crawled millions of pages (mainly from our projects Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons), and made hundreds of thousands of data queries to the Wikidata Query Service (WDQS). This traffic may have contributed to a partial outage on WDQS in May.

Do Any Rainforest Cafe Patrons Know How Seriously the MOA Location Takes “Lifetime Bans”?

Is a lifetime ban just something they threaten when they’re really mad?

Or do they have a formal system in place to monitor and enforce the punishment?

If the latter, any advice on how to navigate the appeals process would be greatly appreciated

Problem solved
Those documents argue systems were exposed and some information was withheld; they are not the same as a completed official finding that 2020 vote totals were switched or that the certified result was reversed.

Bottom line: Federal assessments after 2020 found no evidence that foreign actors or voting machines changed the outcome. Isolated fraud cases exist. Later White House releases dispute how much risk and data compromise were disclosed. I cannot verify a government finding that the 2020 election was stolen.

Screenshot of the poster. It shows Fani Willis on oneside with Feb 2 and a headline below her about her relationship. On Feb 3 side it shows a text message convo between JP Cooney Gavin Wallach. Cooney: Hey man is 109 Row 1 reserved for Jack? Cooney: Dam. Thank you for saving--but we are good. Ask Harbach. Wallach: He is already down here. Thanks.

The US News rankings added a new metric on "earnings by major" I was a bit freaked out when I heard about this, but it seems to be a field adjusted earnings estimate. I thought this was just lead to over indexing on "high earning majors" but the adjustments reduce this impact in useful ways.
Earnings by major: Earnings by major compares graduates' earnings with typical earnings in the same fields of study. Based on College Scorecard data, the metric evaluates median earnings for a two-year pooled cohort of federal financial aid recipients who hold a bachelor's degree and are employed four years after graduation. College Scorecard used the 2017-18 and 2018-19 completion cohorts in its March 2026 release. Earnings for these two graduating award years were measured four years after completion (in 2022 and 2023) and adjusted for inflation.

For each field of study, the log value of the median of the median earnings values across all ranked institutions in a school's category is subtracted from the log value of the school's median earnings. These fields of study were mapped to four-digit CIP codes assigned by the ED’s Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) that correspond to common majors, such as chemical engineering, criminal justice and history. In order for a school's category median earnings to be included in the comparison, there must have been at least two other schools with usable data in the relevant category. To allow broader comparisons, graduate salaries for institutions in the four regional university categories were benchmarked against salaries averaged across all four regions, with the same method applied to regional colleges.Log values measure proportional differences rather than raw dollar comparisons, reducing the influence of fields with wider salary ranges. Each field-level log difference is standardized about its mean value (z-scored) to account for varying earnings distributions among majors, then weighted by the proportion of the school's graduates in that field. These weighted z-score values are then summed to produce the final index score that is the basis of the indicator rank. Despite all these adjustments, the amount of pay associated with different majors cannot be completely isolated from factoring in the result. However, the adjustments minimize this impact to prioritize measuring the career benefit delivered by the institutions versus the academic interests of the students.

The College Scorecard suppresses earnings data for fields with fewer than 30 graduates. To qualify for an overall score, a school's unsuppressed data must represent slightly more students – at least 40 graduates and 10% of the graduating class, though this requirement was waived in the National Universities category because only a few institutions fell just short.

Ah yes, attacked for "advertising their cheese can be eaten by Muslims"
TILLAMOOK DAIRY IS UNDER ATTACK FOR ADVERTISING THEIR CHEESE CAN BE EATEN BY MUSLIMS.

They have made the decision of adding HALAL on their packaging. I’m sure it was with hope it would increase demand for their products.

What they didn’t expect was the backlash of public outcry over their products being pushed to be eaten by radical Muslims that are here to take over our country.

Tillamook is now being seen as traitorous to our country by promoting Muslim affiliation.

Perhaps had they made a different decision by adding that it was BOTH KOSHER and HALAL, the public would have acted differently.

People are talking about boycotting their company.

We already know what happened to Budweiser, Target and Nike. They have lost a tremendous amount of stock value and sales have plummeted. Nike has just been knocked out of the NASDAX 100.

AMERICA DOES NOT ACCEPT THE CONTINUED WOKE PUSH OF THE LEFT IN OUR COUNTRY.

The saying now is IF YOU GO WOKE, YOU GO BROKE.

Tillamook should revisit their advertising position. They may very well loose more customers by associating with Muslims, than what customers they gain.

Today every company should know that America will not accept the WOKE ideology of the left. Every company should take serious steps not to isolate Americans by attempting to attract a radical group of people as customers.

Choose wisely Tillamook. You’re still a small company and you have a lot to lose by angering your base of customers.

What a wild claim for why people aren't getting married. ohiocapitaljournal.com/2026/09/14/r...
Earlier this year, for example, an Iowa Senate subcommittee approved a bill that would allow couples to opt out of no-fault divorce when they’re registering for marriage licenses.

“In the last generation, we have seen the chaos of — the circus of — pure no-fault divorce, (and) the ugliness of divorce and the breakdown of marriage,” Iowa state Sen. Jesse Green, a Republican, told his colleagues during a February hearing on his bill, which later died in committee.

“A lot of people are not getting married anymore because maybe, in some cases, they feel the lack of support and accountability with our law,” he said.

More details.
What students can expect:

syllabi designed by human scholars at the University of Chicago who have generated these materials as a team, refining them over a period of years - even decades.

collectively taught courses that transcend the tastes of any particular instructor or trio of instructors.

discussion-based engagement with faculty and fellow students.

sustained conversation with peers over the course of a full year; the instructor may rotate quarter-to-quarter.

small courses of <20 students, in which instructors assume full responsibility for the assessment and evaluation of student work. In the SOSC core, students can trust that grading of and feedback on assignments are not outsourced to TAs, interns, or LLMs. moderate reading loads with adequate guidance about how human students can successfully complete complex reading assignments.

The corresponding class policies can be briefly summarized as such:

Class attendance in-person is required.

Recording class discussion or lectures is prohibited.

The classroom is a device-free space. Put away laptops and cell-phones. The use of wearable AI (such as Meta glasses) during class is also prohibited.

Our focus will be on the course materials, discussion, and human interaction. Expect

free, robust, and uninhibited discussion.

Students are expected to complete all coursework independently, unassisted by AI, which we take to be a basic requirement of academic honesty in the SOSC Core. Reasonable academic accommodations that do not compromise course objectives or learning goals will be honored.

You see, we live in a meritocracy where a guy gets to continually destroy education for children while getting rich because he has the right ideology
Guidepost was not the first school chain that Mr. Girn had run at an unsustainable pace. Back in 2003, when Mr. Girn, a Canadian native, was a psychology and philosophy student at the University of Toronto, a friend suggested he come work at a school in Orange County called LePort Montessori. It was founded by a wealthy bariatric surgeon, Peter LePort, who sat on the board of the Ayn Rand Institute. Mr. Girn had no formal training in education, but he ran a Rand-focused club on campus. That was enough for Mr. LePort, who hired him to help start a new elementary school.

My member of congress citing the Three Laws of Robotics as laid out in the _movie_ iRobot davidson.house.gov/op-eds?Conte...
In 2003, the movie iRobot laid out three laws designed in a fictitious future (2035) to safeguard human interaction with their Artificial Intelligence (AI)-controlled robots.

A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders conflict with the First Law.
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
