Best to go slow, no need to push yourself. Id work on a break first. Like knuckle down some comms and get enough to live off for a break and see how it feels at the end of it.

I understand the feeling, theres nothing wrong with taking a break if you can afford it, and hopefully your love of the craft itself will return. If it doesnt, thats alright as well, you shouldn't feel beholden to do something you dont need to, it just causes stress.

Yep, even if its just idling in yhe driveway its fine. 34 to 46 degrees Celsius is the ideal temperature for checking oil level but lacking that, just idling ten minutes will do it.

No worries. If youre checking it yourself, make sure the car is warm and running. If you read the transmission fluid level when the engine isnt running it can be all over the place by major fractions.

Have a look where your engine meets the trans, above the battery, should be a second dipstick for it. Theyre usually black or red handled unlike the yellow engine one.
