Newest addition to the collection is this #Commodore #Amiga 1010 disk drive. Something is rattling inside, so I hope it's not broken.😬🤞 #RetroGaming #RetroComputing

Couldn't agree more. Dijkstra would turn around in his grave. I just remembered an interview with Dijkstra, where he even went a step further and explained his position on calling errors bugs. I searched for it and found it. From 50:55. youtu.be/3xUiSgMlkHo?...

After cancelling my subscription, I purged my Google drive today. That's when I stumbled upon this picture from 2020 when I used to have 3 #C64GS. I sold one since then but also built one from scratch. Good times, good times.😁 #RetroGaming #RetroComputing #Commodore #C64

Paper, typing it in from a magazine because I didn't have enough money to buy a game. Of course I had to wait for the next issue where the erratum was published to get it working. One might think that magazines deliberately included errors in their listings to sell the next issue.🙂

Today we fire up the holy grail of #Playstation. It is the first edition PS3, capable of playing #PS1, #PS2 and #PS3 games. The PS2 compatibility is achieved with special hardware that was omitted in later versions. You can spot it from the 4 USB sockets and the CF, SD card slots. #RetroGaming

The loot from yesterday's thrift store tour was OK. I never heard of Maxxed Out Racing before. It has a '69 Camaro on the cover, so can't be that bad, right?...right? #PlayStation #PS2 #PS1 #RetroGaming

I got lucky at a garage sale today. Scored this little fella for CHF 25. It's an #OregonScientific Osaris pocket computer, still complete and pretty unused. Seems to be like a pocket organiser. #RetroComputing

Oops I did it again, I bought another #Seiko UC-2000 / Data-2000. Unfortunately this one is also dead, but maybe I can create a Franken watch with the other dead ones that I have. The keyboard is in mint condition but that screen doesn't fill me with confidence.😬 #Retrocomputing #smartwatch

Offtopic: In case you were wondering if the stories about Switzerland having the highest bunker-people ratio in the world were true. This "newsstand kiosk" (defunct bunker), that I enter from the back entrance features 2 restaurants and 10 rooms for band practice.😜 #undergroundBunker #bunker

A "MBO Teleball-Cassetten-System" console at the enter.ch technology world in Switzerland. Also known as Paladium Telegame. It's a 1977 first generation console which has no CPU. Most of the logic sits in its cartridges. Until recently I had never heard of this thing. #RetroGaming #Vintage

I'm trying to get our local museum to adopt by Telex machine that I inherited from my grandpa. It uses punch tape and has a modem with a staggering 75 Baud (raise your hand if you know what a Baud is 😁). Hopefully they'll take it, I want it to go to a good home. #RetroComputing #ComputingHistory

Apologies for the lack of content these days. My employer is struggling with the current economy and is laying off people every few months. I'm fighting to get enough work and generate revenue so I can keep my job. Don't know how much longer I can stay in overdrive mode.🤷‍♂️

Atari seems to make some good profit again, thanks to new backwards compatible consoles (2600+, 7800+) and their cartridge sales. It would be insanely cool if you'd have a similar approach, or at least a kickstarter.🙏🙏🙏

I love the C64 cartridge version and the fact that it runs on a C64GS. You could probably make a ton of money by re-issuing cartridges for the C64. Btw you still owe me some releases from back in the days (Vendetta, Last Ninja 3).😅

Isn't that the Italian "How can I forget those days" guy who: •Claims to have some rights on the brand. •Creates fake products to keep those rights. •Sues everyone, which is really his only revenue stream.

Yeah, except the Mega65 has an established fan and developer base AND it supports a variety of alternative FPGA cores. As much as I love the Ultimate64 inside the C64U, it's missing some critical functionality to take this anywhere beyond an (excellent) C64 fpga implementation.
