Thought you guys might like a peek at the process for my upcoming X-Men of Apocalypse: Wolverine cover! As you can see I keep things super loose in the early stages. I really like to drop some grayscale shadows over the line art to help see the forms. Slap on some very rough color to prove out the basic colors and lighting. Blast some hype music the entire time. And PRESTO! I’ll try to make some more detailed process posts for the next few. It’s surreal drawing these guys after so many years (decades) 😭.
