The Atari 2600 holds a special place in my childhood. It was the first console that I ever owned and games like Pitfall and River Raid got me hooked! Now this one is ready to play for many more years to come!

I recently gave this Atari 2600 four switch “Vader” new life with a capacitor replacement kit from Console5 and swapped out the broken power switch with a refurbished one. Also replaced the joystick port as one pin had a crack which caused the joystick to not work properly.

Pin 1 fell off as soon as I desoldered the joystick port

All capacitors replaced, new joystick port, and power switch, plus the voltage regulator. Old caps and parts on the right side

Restoring this really beat up PS4 and…my god…this might take the award for most dust I’ve seen in any console ever 😂 🤮
