Went to my daughter's band's first concert today. Their faces as the audience reacted to their art looked like this, just in another font. Nothing makes me more proud to be a human than these privileges: to witness art, to feel our art being witnessed, to watch other humans do these things.

Finally got a call from the urogynecologist, whose services I need after giving birth very quickly to 4 babies weighing up to 9 lbs. No appts before February, IF they decide I "qualify" for one. Thank god I don't live in a socialist country where people wait months to see a doctor. The US is ass.

I had a roommate briefly who was furious that I wouldn't flush tampons. I explained to her the impact on plumbing and sewer systems, and she said, "That's the city and landlord's problem." She was also very rude to restaurant staff. The friendship didn't last long.

It always shocks me how naive some people can be about how the world is vs how they wish it could be. Objectively he could not arrest Netanyahu, but they don't want to understand why. Are any of them taking up arms for a resistance? No. But they sure expect anyone actually trying anything to do it.

I don't wear fur, but whilst at an estate sale I spotted a genuine fox fur coat and marveled at the irrationally low price set by people who didn't know what they had. As I held it, a horrible old woman who wanted it sneered at me that it looked too small for me. Anyway, I now own a fur coat.
