I like going for walks at my favorite rustic park in Minnesota. All photos (other than reposts) are my own, with no editing & no AI. This Minnesotan stands with Canada. Slava Ukraini Please don't add me to starter packs.

With sunset coming earlier every day, my late afternoon walks are more like evening walks. This month this tree caught my attention and I can't get enough of it. As usual, no edits and no AI. Hopefully my schedule will lighten up and I can post more regularly starting in November.

This is called a Flower of an Hour. It blooms for only a short time per day. I saw one on a gravel shoulder of a road a couple weeks ago and haven't seen it since. This is considered invasive in Minnesota.

Here is a more recent photo of the butterfly milkweed, still not showing up as orange as it should. Once others start blooming out in the open, rather than in the shade of bushes, the color should be brighter.
