Last year I got to witness perhaps one of the greatest comebacks in MLB history with the Tigers. This year I have to witness perhaps one of the worst crashouts in MLB history with the Tigers. Feels bad man. #MLB #DetroitTigers

Will this help get the #BuffaloSabres any closer to the playoffs? No. But was it impressive? Yes. Was it cathartic to see after being shut out by the #VegasGoldenKnights a couple nights ago? Hell yeah. #LetsGoBuffalo #NHL

This trade has me feeling so many emotions it’s a good trade. On paper. The numbers are sound. Good, even. Looking at the team they need change and this will give them the ammunition they need both in the draft and in trades. But they’re breaking apart the family.😭 #SeattleKraken #DefendTheDeep #NHL

13) Don’t Look Now. An interesting older movie by the by, lesser talked about. I enjoyed the twist and the building of tension was fun too throughout. A movie that stuck with me and I think of now and again.

The movie poster for Don’t Look Now. Subtitle of “Pass the warning.”

12) Suspiria (1977). Beautifully shot/arranged and scored. It’s an artsy movie but I think it really hits well if you’re in the mood for it.

11) The Visit. Say what you will about Shyamalan but I actually really liked this movie. Maybe my favorite by him? Tension was great, the way it was shot was super good. It’s stuck with me since I’ve seen it.

The movie poster for The Visit. The tagline being “Grandma’s Rules: 1. Have a great time. 2. Eat as much as you want. 3. Don’t ever leave your room after 9:30 pm.”

10) The Fly. Such a memorable movie, it was very well acted and the special effects are of course iconic. Incredible movie.

9) Videodrome. Such a trip of a movie. So wild visually and story wise. I recommend going in knowing nothing and letting it happen.

8) The Invisible Man. I love the original Universal Monster Movies. I wanted to pick one and went with the original Invisible Man. So good even today with both the acting and effects. Incredible especially for a movie in the 30s… wow. #HorrorMovies

7) Re-Animator. A really fun adaptation, the characters are acted out well and the overall feel is good between gross out humor and horror. I also absolutely love the poster… I mean come on.

6) Saw. I wrote an entire blurb… Blog post? Rant? About how innovative and important this movie was to horror movies. It’s so good and such an important movie for “modern” horror movies. The whole series is a series I love but 1 is iconic. #HorrorMovies

5) Silent Hill Revelation. Technically is it not as good as the movie before? Perhaps. But Silent Hill 3 is my favorite game of all time and this adapts it partially so I’m bound to love it. I’m also easy to please so even though it’s not a perfect adaption I love it. #HorrorMovies

4) Thirteen Ghosts. Campy? Absolutely. Silly? At times. Monk is there and also Stu? You bet. I just love the movie though. I’m also a sucker for weird back stories and the Dark Zodiac hooked me immediately. #HorrorMovies

3) Halloween 3. Okay, I’ll die on this hill. Okay maybe not that dramatic. But Halloween 3 is such a fun and underrated movie. It’s my favorite of the Halloween movies, no lie. It’s so interesting, fun, original, and actually pretty spooky at points. Very here for it. #HorrorMovies

The movie poster for Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. It has the tagline “The night no one comes home.”

2) The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. A brilliant early movie. It’s hard but drama on the set aside and surrounding production stuff it is a masterpiece in its ambition, what it brought to theaters, and the overall feel. Incredible. #HorrorMovies

Hey remember when I was gonna do this? Let’s go! 1) Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. My favorite horror movie and maybe movie in general? Honestly just love it. Peak Nightmare in my opinion. The goofiness is balanced with the scary and Nancy returning is a plus. #HorrorMovies

Comment "🔥" and I'll give you a theme for you to show your favourites I got: Top Silent Hill Monsters! I chose 1 from each of the original games. Descriptions in the alt text. 1) The Grey Children 2) The Mannequins 3) The Closer 4) The Twin Victims #SilentHill #VideoGames #SurvivalHorror

An image of “The Grey Child” from Silent Hill 1. It is a humanoid figure that appears to be nude/with no distinguishing features and a grey/sickley green skin tone. Originally they were meant to be ghost children, basically, but due to censors they were made a bit more ambiguous. They yield a knife and have scratch marks in an arcane carving on their face. This is definitely the creature that stuck with me the most from the first game.

The Mannequin from Silent Hill 2. Two torsos attached at the waist, two pairs of legs attached at the waist basically. They still look sultry in stance and attack with abandon, hiding in the shadows until it’s time to pounce like a trap door spider. In the remake they really made these enemies a lot more dangerous and honestly fun. I didn’t want to go the Pyramid Head route even though he’s arguably the most iconic in the franchise but the Mannequins are incredible and create a great sense of tension.

An image of The Closer from Silent Hill 3. Their legs are suggestive of being muscular but feminine. Their arms start “normal” but flare out to giant clubs of what appear to be flesh that they walk on/balance with. Their head, currently seen facing the viewer, has a suggestive looking “face” with “lips”. The head writhes continually and sporadically. This is the first enemy Heather faces in the game and they tower over her. They definitely left an impression.

The Twin Victims in Silent Hill 4: The Room. A pair of heads attached at the neck to a body that is covered in a cloak. Instead of legs two giant arms sprout from it, one of which is pointing at the viewers. The faces look asleep or at least at peace with their eyes closed. They will not attack unless provoked. They will point at the protagonist and say “Receiver of…”. They are the manifestation of two victims of the main antagonist of the game, Billy and Miriam Locane. They are incredibly creepy and an incredibly striking image that has stuck with me.
