This is 100% accurate IME, but a little harsh. I've always felt that they just want to see you make the effort rather than barging in and presumptuously assuming they're going to speak English to accommodate you.

Oooh... 8Gbps is awfully tempting, but I'd have to upgrade my multi-WAN router.
Screenshot of an Internet Plans comparison page. The selected current plan is 2 Gig at $100/month, with download speeds up to 2 Gbps and upload speeds up to 1 Gbps. A recommended 3 Gig plan also costs $100/month and advertises speeds up to 3 Gbps in both directions, a Wi‑Fi 7 router, and optional battery backup. An 8 Gig plan costs $150/month. This is the email in question.
Screenshot of an email in a dark-mode mail app from Brad Williams to info@hogday.org, with the subject “AI ‘art’.” The email body reads:

“Hello!

First, I want to say that Hog Day is great. Always a fun time!

That said, I am extremely disappointed that you’ve used AI “art” for your logo the past two years. I’m sure I don’t need to go into all the ethical issues surrounding AI, but I think the most disappointing thing in this case is that it steals from real human artists, since some of your vendors are actual artists.

I hope you reconsider using the plagiarism tool moving forward. Thank you for your time and consideration.”

Two-page Little Archie comic strip showing a dramatic Pee Wee League baseball game. With the bases loaded and a full count, Little Archie pitches to the Sparrows’ strongest hitter, Brad Williams.
