Rin opens her mouth to speak, carefully considering her words...Her heart was racing like it never has before. "....I don't think I'd be able to share you if you did find one.." ..She's struggling with finding the right words. She does reach for Ayita's hand, though.

Oh...Now Rin's cheeks were flushing! That caught her completely off guard! "I...Well....I'd like that! A lot, actually!.." She leans right back against Ayita. "For one...you have arms to catch me with! Aha...And it feels nice being held by you."

The Rotom Phone seems to begin speaking as it shows images of the fire chimp! "Chimchar, the Chimp Pokemon. It is very agile. Before going to sleep, it extinguishes the flame on its tail to prevent fires." "See? It's pretty useful! Haha..."

Rin was safe here with Ayita, after all! "It can do other things too! Like...Take photos, or store data...Some people even have a Pokedex installed in here!...Do...you know what a Pokedex is?"

Rin gives Ayita a little flick to the forehead before sitting up...A gentle one, of course! "You really are! I mean....Sure...Humans can't do what Pokemon can do?" She'd show Ayita a big smile! "But there are things that only you can do! And that makes you incredible." She'd reach into her-

...That's the smile she wants a picture of. Rin takes a moment before answering, just admiring that smile. "Well...So do you! Aha...You're amazing in general, you know?" A brief pause... "Were...Were you curious about it? About the stuff humans use in towns and stuff, I mean."

....She should take a picture of Ayita's smile. For personal reasons. ...She should make sure that Ayita knows what a phone is before that. It wouldn't be good to startle her.

Well, it's #SmileSunday! This is an old picture of Rin, seeing as it's difficult to get all fixed up in a Marsh....But it is her!

she spots Flare gazing down at something from above... "Chim?" "Flare! Erm...Ember!..." "Chimchar!" She couldn't see what it was, but at least they could follow the ember to find whoever they were following...Flare spits out a flame at the Carnivine!

"Someone else?...I'll...I'll hide behind Ayita to be safe...."

There's just a small nod from Rin, while she watches Flare and the girl speak to each other...Did they...know each other? "Chim, chimchar!" There's a nod, confirming that the Chimchar was Rin's friend! It'd soon begin climbing a tree.....After a moment, it'd climb down, having spotted a fallen-

Flare almost immediately glances in the other's direction, it's flame flaring up....Was it a threat? Rin could only think to do one thing.....She'd swing her arm, the ball flying in the direction of the bushes! If it was a Pokemon.....Maybe it can help her out of here! If it's a human....She'll-

"Chim! Chimchar!" The fire type cries out as it watches Rin struggle in the marsh....Rin reaches into her bag, pulling out a ball....It seemed just like a normal PokéBall....But her mother said it'd help her at some point, right? She knows there isn't anything in it, so all she can do is clutch-

There was a lot of mud....and water...It wasn't at all something Rin was used to. Flare seemed to get a reaction out of it, though, climbing up to sit on her head while excitedly looking around! She wouldn't have expected the fire type to like a place like this...

[ @dancingwild.bsky.social ] It hadn't been too long since Rin had arrived in Pastoria City.....She had believed that she was being led to the inn, or Pokemon Center they'd be staying in for the time being..... Instead, she's found herself standing in front of the Great Marsh's Observatory Gate.-
