The way Sazantos greets them differently at the start of BoF always cracks me up 🤣 #octopath #octopathtraveler #octopathtraveler0

A small 2-panel comic of Sazantos octopath 0 and the difference in treatment he gives to the Ringbearer/Chosen one and his own successor Rondo.

First panel: Sazantos, very politely, is greeting the MC with "Hello, Chosen One", while offering his hand, maybe for a handshake idk. On his left, Mc is represented as a pair of eyes in a dialogue bubble along with a small ring of the flamebringer, replying with "Hiii". You need to imagine it like it was kirby lol
During my game every time Sazantos appeared in the story I always greeted him like that ahah
Around them i tried to do some shojo/prince charming effect for the fun.

Second panel: A displeased, arm crossed, Sazantos greeting a poor, big eyed, kicked puppy style, chibi Rondo who is next to him on the right side of the case.
I also tried to add some kind of... annoyed ? Menacing ? Aura around Sazantos? Not sure how to describe it ngl.

Pretty flameguards Sazantos and Rondo 🥺 #octopath #octopathtraveler #octopathtraveler0

Sazantos (left) and Rondo (right) from hit game Octopath Traveler Champion of the Continent/0. For this fanart I tried to give Rondo the flameguard outfit (not sure if it's noticable)

They are turning their back on each others, both holding a sword . Sazantos is looking downward while Rondo is looking more forward.
Behind them the Sacred flame burns maybe a little bit too brightly(on sazan side the colors are more purple-ish *wink wink*)
On the foreground the whole picture is framed with lasso tooled ornaments. Between them is the ingame symbol of the Flameguard job.

ngl I think I peaked here ovo

That one wha cover art but it's Sazantos (plurals) 🔥 #octopath #octopathtraveler #octopathtraveler0

Sazantos from hit game octopath0/champion of the continent and the many form he had. Composition is from the WHA manga, chapter85 if i recall.
First frame in golden is Or'sazantos, smiling at the viewer, it might be a bit ooc tho.
He is olding the purple frame with Dark Knight Sazan who is himself holding blue Flameguard Sazan's frame, who is holding light blue young sazan frame, who is desperately holding Pharamea's frame who is burning. Yeah.

Bellow all this, is written "Bestower of all", the title in which all of these forms appears.
I suffered a lot but it was worth it.

Remember smol rondo?? He now has a playmate, fumo head sazan *evil laugh*

smol head critter sazantos along with smol head critter rondo from my 2-panel sazantos comics with a rounder face
Next to sazan's head is a picture of a fumo head with lower opacity, like a ghost haunting them. I took this as inspiration for his bug eyes lol

A lot of my fics feel quite similar and i can see nothing but flaws when im reading them for the thousandth time, but i guess being aware of those things is also a push to keep improving. Unfortunately, I keep getting nerfed by having a job haha

i keep saying i underestimate how long editing takes, but it really it’s surprising to spend time editing a fic and look up at the clock like “has it really been four hours???” it has…!
