Two out of three Black Americans do not have a valid passport and passport ownership rises with income and age. So document demands hit young, Black and poor voters first. That is what SAVE is built to do. Tell your senators to keep SAVE off the floor and vote no on it #SaveActTaxesVoters

On the brighter side, recent polls suggest either one will be a viable contender against Paxton or Cornyn in Nov. TX isn't as hard-core red as many think. Me, I'm a Crockett fan (yeah, yeah, take all y'all's perfection/purity-test ball & go home), but they both seem to have the chops.

So this isn't a chilling forecast at all: 😱
From CitriniResearch's Feb. 22, 2026 article, "The 2028 Global Intelligence Crisis: A Thought Exercise in Financial History, from the Future," by Citrini and Alap Shah, an image titled "The AI Feedback Loop: A Non-Cyclical Disruption" showing two, side-by-side infographics. On the left is a circular flowchart titled "Traditional Cyclical Recession (Self-Correcting):"

"In a normal recession, the cause eventually self-corrects. Overbuilding leads to a construction slowdown, which leads to lower rates, which leads to new construction. Inventory overshoot leads to destocking, which leads to restocking. The cyclical mechanism contains within it its own seeds of recovery.

This cycle’s cause was not cyclical."

On the right is a circular flowchart titled "AI-Driven Economic Feedback Loop (No Natural Brake):"

"AI got better and cheaper. Companies laid off workers, then used the savings to buy more AI capability, which let them lay off more workers. Displaced workers spent less. Companies that sell things to consumers sold fewer of them, weakened, and invested more in AI to protect margins. AI got better and cheaper.

A feedback loop with no natural brake."

And consider this... Cantor Fitzgerald (CF), which Lutnick chaired, now "run by his sons", was allowing its traders to purchase the rights to hundreds of millions of dollars of refunds in the event the tariffs were struck down in court. CF takes a huge cut. The "inside game" with the tariffs is on.
