As much as I didn’t like Mercy and had mixed feelings about Eddington, Good Luck Have Fun Don’t Die is poignant and hits—hard. The film feels like a mirror held up to our moment: a culture so desensitized and numb to school shootings that outrage has been replaced by infinite scrolling.
