It's Epilepsy Awareness Month here in Canada. Why is this important? 1. Epilepsy is highly misunderstood and stigmatized and needs awareness. 2. One of our main characters Sam (aka Crow) happens to have epilepsy. 3. Our goal is to normalize disability through story. #IndieAnimation #Epilepsy

An image of Sam ,our main character, dress in his superhero outfit and jumping through a portal, with the sky as a background.

Creative, energetic with a flare for the theatrical, Sam grew up in a world where everything is predictable. Well, everything but him. But, he wants to fit in, to be accepted in this unchanging society. #indieanimation #indieanimationday #dovesandcrows

As the literal deity of order, Order is assertive, commanding, and formal. He is always in control and never has a hair out of place. While he has a cold outer shell, he just wants what is best for the world. #IndieAnimationDay

As the literal deity of chaos, you would be able to pick Chaos out from a large crowd. They are a force to be reckoned with, spontaneous to the bone, and unpredictable. Her confidence and strong presence are comforting to those she cares about. And terrifying to her enemies. #IndieAnimationDay

Last but not least: Chaos and Order, mentors to Sam and Mia respectively. Neither are evil, but they aren't exactly good people either. With opposing wants for the world, watch as an immovable object meets an unstoppable force. #IndieAnimationDay #Animation #art #indieanimation #2danimation

Years ago the deity Chaos was sealed, and all progress in the world stopped. In this world of order, Sam longs for something different. So when he frees Chaos, he joins her to fight for a new unknown future. Meanwhile, Mia fights to preserve the predictability, and safety, of the last millennia.

Like Sam, Mia has an alter ego. Her name? Dove. Dove is the apprentice of the deity, Order. Her goal? To seal Chaos and defeat Crow. Chaos is too dangerous. Besides being our deuteragonist, Mia/Dove is also Sam/Crow's greatest foe... #IndieAnimationDay #IndieAnimation #art #animation #artist

This is Mia. Our protagonist, and Sam's best frenemy. She is smart, dependable, and kind. She is also #autistic. She aspires to help others, and to protect her family. She believes the world should stay predictable for the safety of all. #IndieAnimationDay #Animation #Art #IndieAnimation
