20. 「 The Sinking City 2 」 ● Survival Horror, Action, Adventure ● 100% Completion (23/23) I like the direction they went in, but at the same time, the result was lacking a little. Combat didn't have that oomph, the main characters were bland, BUT Lovecraft is my shit so I was happy. 24 hours.

19. 「 Moss: The Forgotten Relic 」 ● Platformer, Exploration, Puzzle ● 100% Completion (46/46) There was a lot of beauty to it - the art, music and the story itself - but the awkward camera and sometimes finicky controls irritated me more than they didn't. 25 hours that include the no-death runs.

18. 「 Retro Rewind - Video Store Simulator 」 ● Simulation, Management, Casual ● 100% Completion (18/18) I'm not usually into simulation, but I decided to give this a try, and well, the gameplay loop hooked me. Extremely addictive, I loved how it encouraged progress with the unlocks. 33 hours approx!

17. 「 Subnautica 」 ● Horror, Survival, Crafting ● 100% Completion (17/17) The intention was to conquer my thalassophobia, and it was going fine up until a certain point where I then had to mod it to continue. I'm not afraid to say that finishing this at all was a feat for me. Took around 40 hours.

16. 「 Routine 」 ● Horror, Adventure, Sci-Fi ● 100% Completion (14/14) A crazy impressive horror game that was in development hell for 13 years. Audio, visuals, all impeccable. The lore and story behind it was bonkers, I LOVE concepts that are just so out there. Took me near 12 hours to finish.

15. 「 Choo-Choo Charles 」 ● Horror, Adventure, Trains ● 100% Completion (25/25) The game had its 15 minutes of fame a few years ago, and I finally got around to playing it myself. It was silly, fun, and didn't require much thinking or effort aside from the perma-death mode. A good 9 hours of trains.

Personally I do think it's to stop people breaking into the game early, the incentive to sell early copies, theft, and overall leaks. Hell, they've been so hush hush about their own game, they really don't want more leaks.

14. 「 Gone Home 」 ● Walking Sim, Exploration, Story ● 100% Completion (10/10) A very short story experience, with some easter egg and speedrun achievements. It was nice, all in all, and by listening to some of the dev commentary, heart and soul was poured into it. Took me 5 hours while being slow.

The new batch of games I've started. The standouts so far: ━Routine, the atmosphere is phenomenal, and it really doesn't hold your hand. ━Choo-Choo Charles, just silly and fun. Sometimes that's needed.

13. 「 Silent Hill f 」 ● Survival Horror, Action, Adventure ● 100% Completion (56/56) I loved the atmosphere and the setting of Ebisugaoka, especially exploring it, but I found the combat to be monotonous and frustrating, notably near the end. For 3 and a bit playthroughs, around 48 hours in all.

12. 「 Dungeons of Hinterberg 」 ● Action, Adventure, Puzzle ● 100% Completion (50/50) Really impressive, it had a satisfying gameplay loop of dungeons which consisted of puzzles and combat, then followed by a friend sim aspect. Took 34 hours for everything, which included a bit of grinding.

The last two games I have on my current rotation. —Silent Hill f - playthrough #3, Lost in the Fog difficulty. —Dungeons of Hinterberg - couple more dungeons left to do, but I need to grind some first. Haven't bought any games lately, but I think Black Flag Resynced will be the next. 🏴‍☠️

11. 「 No, I'm not a Human 」 ● Horror, Choices, Replayable ● 100% Completion (60/60) You'll only ever see concepts like this in the indie space. I liked it, it was addictive, but seeing everything relied on RNG, and that was where it got frustrating. It took me 26 hours, and I was happy to be done.

10. 「 God of War 」 ● Action, Adventure, Story ● 100% Completion (37/37) It looked and felt amazing, glad I finally jumped in. Exploration was great, story was touching, and of course it had its challenges. The 100% was beefy but straightforward, no faffing around with subsequent runs, took 55 hours!

9. 「 Resident Evil Requiem 」 ● Survival Horror, Action, Adventure ● 100% Completion (49/49) My current GOTY!! I always have such a great and memorable time with new Resident Evil games, they're good for my health. Crazy from start to finish, Leon was a sight to behold. 48 hours in all for 3 runs!

8. 「 Siren's Rest - Still Wakes the Deep DLC 」 ● Horror, Adventure, Lovecraftian ● 100% Completion (22/22) I don't think this DLC added much, really. It was nice seeing the aftermath of Beira D but it wasn't as thrilling as the main game - in truth, very little happened, quite underwhelming.
