Today is also my mom's birthday! Bought her a new TV and she's very happy with it. Helped her sort out some other stuff with her subscriptions and tech things. Annnd met with a local for the first time and got some fursuit snugs, starting a new friendship. Rollercoaster of a weekend but ended well!

Spent a lot of hours cleaning the bed off this roadside section after years of it being neglected. Sand, leaves, chunks of road...roses have more room to breathe and their coming in. Look at all the buds too! 🥰

Yea so...using AI to generate 3d models from scans of people for fursuit Refs is just blugh. It looks really cool to a point but I fundamentally disagree with it and yet...it still looks off. It also sets this unrealistic expectation of what "could be"....because its fake as hell. Use a pencil.

My family used the same donor for me and my sister so...she was born in 1988 and then me and 91... So part of me was frozen in liquid nitrogen for a few more years before being extracted. Am I technically an 80's kid? 🤔

The more I think about the prospect of moving and what that will cost me I will likely need to sell and get rid a lot of stuff. Including suits....just about everything except my car and my computer. It makes the most sense and im struggling to see a way around it.

Any recommendations for fursuit makers that could make some dragon foot paws and handpaws? Something more on the slim be well defined side... Either two sets of feet or one of each of hands and feet? I have a couple yards of fur from howl fabric I've been sitting on and it's almost that time

Long story short, I was good at it, but the pay wasn't worth the stress. But now this new hire is getting easy street treatment and is still fumbling. I can only imagine how it'll go when they have to take over the full role that I'm still partially filling in for while they train

Brings me immense joy, but also frustration, that I took a slightly less paying position due to stress and watching the new hire get the training I -didn't- receive (the reason I told em to shove it) and watching them still struggle after two months while my boss is visibly frustrated w/ them.

I work for a newspaper. I help older customers access their digital "paper" as part of my job description. I did not expect my coworkers to lack the most basic computer knowledge despite using them DAILY. "Whats a Google calendar? What are cookies? Is browser a search engine?" Oh my god
