It’s #tongueouttuesday today. Because Spesh has breathing problems, her tongue is usually poking out 👅. She’s such a cutie. #rescuecats #catsofbluesky

#throwbackthursday I miss our little Drummer cat so much. We lost him (and his father and sister) in 2020 - it was such a sad year. I’m loving digging through the old photos to see him again though. #rescuecats #catsofbluesky #blindcat

Bert is king of the castle today. He hopes everyone’s enjoying their Sunday and he’s looking forward to a bit of left-over Sunday Lunch. He may look a bit serious, but he’s very content #catsofbluesky #cats #rescue

Bert, one of our tuxedo cats, is sitting on the top of a cat-tower, looking rather serious.

It’s cold outside, and storm Bert is on its way. So we’re going to snuggle up in our favourite window seat. #rescuecats #cats #caturday

Spesh’s favourite music is The Cure. She joined us for the amazing weekend of music earlier in November (in front of the TV which was up loud to drown out the fireworks). She loved every second, as did we. @reevesgabrels.bsky.social @rogerodonnell.bsky.social #rescuecats #proofofcat

Ernest and Bert look like black and white tuxedo cats, but in sunlight they show their secret “ghost” tabby markings. So beautiful. 🖤 #rescuecats #cats

Ernest (who looks black and white usually) has some lighter-brown tabby striping on his body which can only be seen in bright light)

It’s a full moon today. Our cats are always a little more skittish and playful when the moon’s in this phase. Do you notice the same in your pets? #rescuecats #cats

Since our last post, we have adopted two more rescue cats. They’re called Keith and Klaus. They’re feral and came to us in March as very timid kittens. Since then we’ve loved watching them grow and have enjoyed snuggles and fuss from them both recently.

Keith the cat. He is black with about 8 white hairs on his chest.

Klaus the cat. He is a tuxedo (black and white) and is quite small, especially compared to his brother Keith.

Happy Caturday from Bert. He’s not so happy today because it’s bonfire night here in the U.K. tomorrow so we’ve had a lot of fireworks. Hopefully he’ll perk up soon. #rescuecats #cat #caturday

This is Lily, the last member of our #rescuecat family. She’s just turned one and she’s extremely long! She is also quite odd (I don’t think she realises she’s a cat). She was an orphan and was hand-reared. #cat

Lily is a pure black cat with yellow eyes. She’s lounging on the windowsill in this photo.

Say hello to Ernie. He’s Bert’s twin and they’re very close. He is the Daddy of the group and looks after all the other cats with so much kindness.

Ernest is a black and white ‘tuxedo’ cat with yellow / green eyes and a heart-shaped black nose.

This is Spesh. She is 4-5 years old. She was very sick when she was found and had a lot of treatment to help her get better. She has a very snotty nose, sneezes a lot (usually on us), her tongue sticks out all the time and she has only half a tail. #rescuecats #cat

This is Maisie. She’s almost 15. Shes lived with us for 13 years and is a rescue cat. She’s diabetic and is a great ‘mother’ cat to the rest of our much younger clowder. #cat #rescuecats

Maisie is a pretty calico colour (orange, black and white). She has lovely long white whiskers abs beautiful yellow-green eyes.
