Left DIGGER puzzled, but I think it's slowly winning me over. A bait-and-switch take on satire, and how useful it can hope to be in a world turned mad. Cruise gives it all, but is particularly inspired in his quietest moments. Not for everybody, sure, but I think there's something there!

Hey !

It's a shame no one talks about CAPED CRUSADER season 2, because it's really good. A massive improvement over the first batch, that really taps into that melancholic vibe the original BATMAN series had. Great villains (loved Matthew Needham's Joker), mature twists, cool designs. What's not to like?

Massive occupational hazard: I simply cannot play this game without thinking of the sheer volume of lines involved and what triggers them, which is a roguelite in itself. Anyway, HADES II is massive. It's as good as it gets. Play the fuck out of it, pretty please.

Thibaut Claudel @republ33k.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Sometimes you're so hyped by a game you dread the possibility of launching it. At least that's me, finally playing HADES II in September 2026. Happy to report I still suck, but I love every second of it.

Rolled the credits on ZERO COMPANY yesterday. Loved how it captures STAR WARS' camaraderie through its mechanics. Just enough features to make tactical games fresher and more accessible. Great cast and cool surprises story-wise. All-around enjoyable experience; I'm ready for a new run!

Zach Cregger adapts you playing RESIDENT EVIL rather than the game, and directs the fuck out of it: funny and tense, often at the same time, with gorgeous cinematography (Dariusz Wolski is on fire) and super clever camera work. Plus, some surprisingly slimy moments! An early Halloween treat.

Featuring a cool comparison between STARCRAFT and a standalone boxed game, which proves that people are still excited by something tangible and meaningful, like, you know, a story.
