Patients and providers in PA have faced harassment and violence for decades simply for accessing reproductive care. With FACE Act violators pardoned, intimidation is being emboldened. I’m calling for a state-level FACE Act to protect patients, providers, and public safety.

Congressman Deluzio is a patriot who serves with integrity and puts our communities first. If Republicans are serious about confronting the rhetoric that fuels political violence, they might want to start with their president.
Two people stand side by side in an office. On the left is a man wearing a dark zip-up sweater, a white shirt, tan pants, and brown shoes. On the right is a woman wearing a loose gray sweater, a light scarf, black pants, and black heels. Both are smiling. A framed district map hangs behind them, and office furniture and display shelves are visible around them. The man is Congressman Chris Deluzio, and the woman is State Representative Lindsay Powell.

The federal shutdown is hurting our neighbors. Starting Nov. 1, more than 2 million Pennsylvanians could lose access to SNAP benefits, threatening food security for families and seniors. This isn’t politics, it’s people’s lives. My office is here to help.

PA’s housing crisis demands action—aging infrastructure, rising costs, and too few affordable options. That’s why I helped launch the first-ever bipartisan Housing Caucus to advance commonsense solutions for families across the Commonwealth.

House Dems passed real transit funding—sustainable, recurring, no new taxes, and $600M for roads/bridges. Senate Rs blocked it. Thanks to Gov. Shapiro & PennDOT, PRT got a $106.7M stopgap to avoid cuts & fare hikes, but without long-term funding, riders stay at risk.

Today we remember the lives lost on 9/11 and honor the first responders, firefighters, and service members who ran toward danger to keep us safe. Too many still face broken systems when they need care. We must do better—for our first responders, and for one another.
Graphic with beige background and black text featuring a 9/11 remembrance message from Pennsylvania State Representative Lindsay Powell. The text reads:
“Today we pause to remember the horror of September 11, 2001; the thousands of lives lost, and the selfless courage of firefighters, EMS, police, recovery workers, and all first responders who ran toward danger so others could live.

But remembrance isn’t enough. Decades later many of those heroes are still paying the price. Exposure to toxic dust, smoke, debris and lifelong trauma has led to chronic respiratory disease, cancer, PTSD, and other illnesses among tens of thousands who survived that day.

Today is more than a marker of tragedy—it is a reminder: as Americans, we owe a debt of care. If we ask people to run toward what frightens us, to serve in harm’s way, then we must ensure that the systems meant to protect them do not fail them.

Let’s honor the fallen not just with words, but with resolve: to legislate, to act, and to care for those who risked everything so we might have peace.”

At the bottom right is Rep. Lindsay Powell’s logo, which includes a stylized bridge illustration, the words “District 21,” and text reading “Lindsay Powell, State Representative.”

The PA House just passed our bill to fund home repairs for low-income homeowners, including seniors and folks with disabilities—building on the success of the Whole Home Repairs program. Over 18,000 applicants are still waiting. Next stop: the Senate.

Had the joy of meeting Sam—a kind & hilarious kid whose family found support at the Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center. From medical care to foster & adoption services, they’re a lifeline for families. I’ll keep fighting for the resources they deserve.

I stand in solidarity with workers at Allegheny Reproductive Health Center! When reproductive rights are under constant attack, the strongest way to protect this care is by standing up for the people who provide it.
A graphic with a pink background features raised fists and protest signs in silhouette. The text reads: “Organizing and unionizing is vital for all workers, but it is especially critical for those on the front lines of reproductive health care. The staff at Allegheny Reproductive Health Center are not only essential to the clinic’s daily operations — they are essential to protecting access to care in a moment of national crisis. I stand in solidarity with these workers and call on senior management to immediately and voluntarily recognize their union. At a time when reproductive rights are under relentless attack, the best way to defend this care is to defend the people who provide it.” At the bottom is the logo for State Representative Lindsay Powell, District 21, featuring a stylized bridge over a sun.

The signs say it all: support Pennsylvania workers and stand up for labor rights. Donald Trump is targeting the NLRB. At a time when union busters hold power at the top, we don’t have time to waste. This May Day, and every day, we must stand with Pennsylvania workers.

In this post-Roe era, the chaotic mix of laws, politics, and control over our bodies has become a dangerous mess—one that’s costing people their rights, and in some cases, their lives. We must remain committed to the fight for reproductive freedom. It's fight for all.

Not all rewarding careers require a four-year degree—skills, passion & hands-on experience pave the way. Last week, my colleagues and I toured A.W. Beattie Career Center to see how state funds support future carpenters, chefs & mechanics. Proud to back these vital trades!

Stalkers are using tracking devices like AirTags to follow victims without consent. My bill would make it illegal to use these devices for stalking in PA. It's time to close this loophole and protect Pennsylvanians.
A photograph of State Representative Lindsay Powell speaking passionately at a microphone on the Pennsylvania House floor. She is wearing a black blazer over a white blouse, and her curly hair cascades down her shoulders. Her expression is determined and focused. The background is blurred but shows the ornate chamber setting. Overlaid text in bold white letters reads "Prohibiting Remote Stalking", with a red box in the corner labeled "H.B. 407." Below, a caption in white text explains that AirTags and similar tracking devices have been misused for stalking, and this bill—referred to the House Judiciary Committee—would make unauthorized tracking a third-degree misdemeanor. The phrase "referred to the House Judiciary Committee" is highlighted in red.
