Nithya Raman earned DSA-LA members' endorsement by winning 65.9% of the 1,421 votes. That appears to make this one the most contentious endorsement that came out of the past week of voting by DSA-LA members. Margins were around 80% and above in favor, for the six others endorsed:

DSA-LA is gearing up for a possible endorsement in the LA mayor's race. Nithya Raman was among four candidates who joined Saturday's DSA-LA meeting, says their comms director Anna Gross. Online voting on that race will be from Wednesday until Sept. 1.
