Pledging to reimburse those funds doesn't make this right, and firm measures must be put in place to ensure public funds never go towards vanity projects.

The content of these games, which belittles crises currently facing Americans across the country, has no place on an official government platform, and the website must be removed immediately.

It was a productive meeting capped off with receiving a display of commemorative 250th anniversary stamps to represent the celebrations of our country’s independence as we remain a partner in Kosovo’s fight for their own.

Freedom of the press prevailed in court today. This is a major victory for the First Amendment and every American demanding accountability from the White House. Delivered by a Trump-appointed judge, this decision proves that despite attempts to bypass the Constitution, no one is above the law.

Disaster relief should never be political. As a government agency, FEMA should be aiding all Americans during a disaster, not just those that agree with their political leaning. This partisan roadblock impacts not just New Yorkers, but every American relying on federal support in a crisis.

Our country's relationship with Canada is built on centuries of mutual trust and economic collaboration. It is not leverage for reckless trade tactics. This senseless move does nothing to lower costs and merely shifts new financial burdens onto consumers already struggling to cover basic goods.

Trump's D.C. projects are the epitome of the "waste, fraud, and abuse" my Republican colleagues claim to be fighting. It is well past time to shift the focus from costly vanity projects to the pressing issues facing households across the country.
