I spent some time reviewing over a music composition I created previously; In fact, it's the first time I am. I am a tad rusty, so doing this - evident in these notes here - really, honestly, gets my mind to focus on what I liked or notice in my older DAW projects. Very helpful!

Introspective study on "B7"

Reverb of some kind on most instruments; Seems to be mild touch
Equalizer, although tuned individually, shows pattern of CUT BASS and RISE HIGHS - mildly.
Stereo Matrix - commonly only use the inner LR, rarely touched the outer LR
Limiter conservatively on individual tracks
Bass-boosted conservatively, on tracks with bass-intent or lack power in lower range

:Seems I panned liberally, making the instrument either ear heavy but great on whole mix; feels funky/counterintuitive
:Chorus present, however I still doubled on instruments playing same melody
:Light/scarce on effects on individual tracks in general
:For Stereo Matrix, the outer LR seemed useful on chord tracks, layered with similar tracks - however not the rule
:Panning automation, the usual
:Pastly, I used to copy the main melody(s), chord(line), and bass on a single SGM-V2 "Strings" track for additional
support and reverb effect. This is the case in "B7". However the main composition, the actual - rather - only incorporates
the chord(line) (as a sub-bass now) below also the bassline.

:The drums interestingly don't incorporate my present way of emphasizing low-end/cutting high end on bassdrum,
cutting low-end/emphasizing high end on cymbals - however keeps the slight reverb effects.
:The Master includes, still, my present way of cutting very low end in the Equalizer - goes to show how well I enjoyed
that little trick and how far I learned it back then.
:This track still does the C*Narrower trick on the Master which I eventually dropped after much internal debate.
:Of course, this was also back then when I compressed and limited the shit out of the Master, obviously affecting
the production (not necessarily on quality) of the whole track. I don't do this now; I use one overall limiter on the Master now.
