Every piece should tell a story. The past week I’ve been writing up the LORE for Hollowed Strings, my art project. The more I write, the more immersed I become in this universe! Lots of laws to abide by, character connections and philosophies! #art #artproject #traditionalart #digitalart

Two framed commissions I completed 3 weeks ago for a friend. Came out quite well and he was happy about it. Up on his wall now :) Dip pen, indian ink on 230gsm bristol paper. #lineart #traditiomalart #art #marvel #artists

Took a few days off designing because I had lots of IRL work to do. Quite thankful to be able to take some time off today to do some relaxing watercolouring and listen to some podcasts. Who should I draw next 🤔🤔 #jojo #animeart #traditionalart #art #artsits

Another water colouring piece completed. Made some mistakes here and there but slowly starting to get use to painting. Only thing which I find hard is the preplanning. Who should I draw next 😂 #art #traditionalart #watercolouring #jojo #animeart

Wanted to learn a new medium. First attempt at watercolouring. I think it came out okay. Had no idea what I was doing but had so much fun playing with the colours 🙂 Never painted in my life but damn, what an enjoyable experience! #art #traditionalart #watercolour #jojoart #animeart #artwork

Giving you guys a sneak peak. This is what colouring looks like once you do the hard work of getting the values correct. I also had to fix up the foot because the angle was slightly off. Rendering this design now to give it that UMMPH #animeart #lineart #anime #traditionalart #artist #art #oc #wip

Commission piece! Values fully completed. Now for a quality check and then I’ll start the colouring process which will take about a day. It is by far the most detailed marionette I have designed so far. LFG! #animeart #mangastyle #lineart #anime #traditionalart #artist #art #oc #wip

Should be done with stage 2 shading tomorrow and then quality check. Spent my sweet time doing this but as you can see the difference in the design once you add the occlusions and 2nd-3rd values. #animeart #mangastyle #lineart #anime #traditionalart #artist #art #oc #wip

#Art comes in many shapes & forms. What is important is that the #artists should enjoy the process from start to finish & that they don’t judge their success based on the success of others. Art should be about LOVE and PASSION first and THEN everything else..

060

Rengokuyo @rengokuyo.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

Nothing is better than connecting with other #artists & learning about their #art journey. We all come from different backgrounds & walks of life but connected by each other’s love for art. My biggest motivation is being able to witness the growth of other artists & seeing their effort in improving
