Another one of my favorite managers got terminated yesterday... I always forget that no matter how long you work at a certain place-- they can always drop/replace you in the blink of an eye. You hate to see it

My fc fam came into town a couple days ago. Despite being scheduled to work I always took every chance to hang with them.. It has been a fun week and now they are all going back home tomorrow 😭

When your longtime friend comes into town but I have to work so I let them use my pc. I got home and: "Oh you weren't joking about your art collection huh...THIS IS ALL 🦶" Me: Yep you've known me for x years I was doing you a solid by maximizing my windows. 💀👅

I had quite the conversation at Bucee's today when I went to pump gas-- Since we've had international visitors for the world cup-- they expressed joy about how a beaver petrol stop has the most addicting snacks ever. And also said that beaver nuggets are to die for. It's too cute.

So far the only pro I've seen is that the shift swaps go on there early in advance-- but I'm in no rush and will stick to my usual availability on the partnered scheduling app. I'm glad I'm not the only one at the workplace that thinks this way. 😅

Got asked to come into work for a shift earlier... had free time so why not. Been thanked personally by my boss and management. Got home, got an email that there's a work discord-- Oh nyo, I'm gonna have to politely decline the invite tomorrow when I picked up a shift.
