I bought a small house 5 years ago in Perth and the house price increases are nuts. In the last month the value went up by $30k. That means if you were saving for a 20% deposit, your savings target went up $6k in a month. Totally unsustainable.

I teach a pretty hardcore masters unit on how to ID animals, with peeps like @idrnik.bsky.social. The students are so impressed I know all the characters in the key for each species. Folks, secretly, we’ve been using the same individual bugs for four years. I don’t know the key, I know the bug.
