Saw Marie Kreutzer’s GENTLE MONSTER out of TIFF. It's the Léa Seydoux showcase and not much else. It’s thoughtful in prose but doesn’t have much depth to offer in its heavy topic beyond her performance. My review via @whatsonnetflix.bsky.social: www.whats-on-netflix.com/what-to-watc...

Léa Seydoux Shines in Marie Kreutzer’s Uneven Netflix Movie ‘Gentle Monster’ [TIFF]
Despite a powerhouse, visceral performance from Léa Seydoux, Marie Kreutzer's dark domestic drama gets bogged down by unnecessary subplots and a surprisingly surface-level execution.

Maika Monroe gets out of her “always the frightsmaid” fit and delivers some frights in VICTORIAN PSYCHO. Doesn’t live up to its funny or gory potential but I eventually had fun with it thanks to Monroe’s killer performance. #FantasticFest www.rendyreviews.com/movie-review...
