completely fairr, i usually do too especially with music but that's one i could just never make despite many attempts 😭

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

honestly i just consider the greatest albums of all time as equal, you can't put one over the other as they're all so different and there's so many of them

I tested a machine learning model designed to detect NSFW content. It marked this image as unsafe, because of Tim Allen's breasts (marked in blue) and my hand-penis (marked in green)

A photo of the laserdisc cover for Disney's The Santa Clause, featuring Tim Allen in a red onsie.
There's a blue box around his "breasts", and a green box around the hand on holding the laserdisc

ough this band is so cool, i love seeing people mention them (they're from the town next to me and the last show they ever played was in the building next to my old high school, which they probably went to as well 😭)

according to the LTT review it seems valve is open to others in the vr space approaching them about possible continued support/manufacturing (whatever that means)

010

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

in general it seems like valve is trying to push the vr market a little bit rather than just making a high end headset like the index was, which is gonna upset people who want high end vr but imo it'll be a very good thing if it works out, just look at what the steam deck did (especially for linux)

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

overall i'm honestly decently happy with the headset, assuming it's priced well. if it is then i'll definitely sell my quest 3 and buy one, it's not much of an upgrade in terms of hardware but the seamless steam integration and not being meta is a huge plus for me

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

tbh i don't have much experience with base station headsets (and i have a quest 3) but the LTT review made it seem like the dead zones and tracking were surprisingly really good, so hopefully that is true

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 10/11/2025

i wish more people understood this 💔 keeping it to nsfw spaces isnt suppression, its literally just keeping it away from people who shouldnt be seeing it or dont want to be seeing it

010

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 06/11/2025

oh huh, alright. maybe i will try it then

010

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 06/11/2025

alright, that's good to know. i'll probably check it out once there's full slimevr support

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 06/11/2025

does WiVRn support wired? becaaue I use ALVR wired, not wireless

110

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 06/11/2025

that too yeah!! honestly i just want the stock ui with flac (or opus) support, replaygain support, better smart playlists, stock controls, and drag and drop support so i dont have to use itunes 😭 that would be perfect

010

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 06/11/2025

i keep hearing about Monado, what exactly is it? i use alvr with my quest 3 and if its an alternative im wondering if its any good

110

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 06/11/2025

i rarely even go on windows anymore tbh, except for substance painter/unity/blender stuff. also i just installed cachyos on my legion go and it seems pretty good, also arch-based so similar to endeavourOS but with gaming more in mind

010

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 06/11/2025

i've been dual-booting endeavourOS on my main pc for months now and its been great, a very good way to simplify installing arch while still being basically just plain arch lol. vr works great too (i couldnt get vr working on mint), i really recommend rolling release distros like arch for vr

110

Ren @rendrox.bsky.social · 06/11/2025

i appreciate rockbox a lot for letting me use flac, replaygain, etc, but i really wish there was a more stripped down version with simpler controls...
