Was pleasantly surprised to find Our Flag Means Death as a recommendation on the back of one of the Heartstopper official fan cards😊 (tho I knew Alice was probably a fan from the 2022 halloween Heartstopper comic she posted.)

GAY
Gay men are attracted to people of their own gender
- emotionally, romantically and/or sexually. 'Gay' can also be used as an umbrella term by any LGBTQ+ person to describe themselves, just like 'queer’.
There are also a huge range of slang terms used by members of the gay community to describe themselves, including 'twink' (a boyish man) and
'bear' (a more hirsute man).

Charlie and Mr Ajayi identify as gay, but Nick identifies as bisexual because he is also attracted to people of other genders. People can decide on their identity at any age and often shift between identities as they learn more about themselves and their relationships.
