Another lesser-known fact is the French research on liquid fuel rockets... EA‑1941 was France’s first liquid‑fuel rocket, created by Jean‑Jacques Barré. Work began in the 1930s, continued through the German occupation, and produced real static tests in 1941–42. A 60 km range was recorded in 1945...

Chances are "he" is a bot. "The name's Bond... " Who would make such a mistake? "My name's Bond..." is universally known. Not the first time I spotted a strange mistake

I m going to tell you, l don''t give a damn about that war's so-called illegality. I read the Iranian government murdered about 45 000 people, and even in my little country called Belguim, I witnessed a demonstration by Iranian nationals against their government, showing photos of victims

Shortages of water, food & ammo... whatever he did, it was useless anyway. I guess Wainwright failed as well..

If you're thinking about speed, it was just a matter of time for the British to reach high velocities - 1945. Like the P-80A, the Gloster Meteor was more agile (turning, low‑speed handling, and energy recovery). The Allies had other projets by the way... The Me 262 was a poor dogfighter

The Vickers type 432 used only selective geodetic ideas, not the full system

At least 4 aircraft were designed with a geodetic skeleton... The Vickers Windsor's production was cancelled because of the end of the war

The YB40 carried up to 16 50 cal. machine guns, and a tremendous amount of ammo, but it was a failure

The real flying fortresses were B25s as late‑war gunship versions carried up to 18 machine guns (B‑25H/G Mitchell) vs B17s up to 13 machine guns...

The Super Pershing was used in combat for about one month before the war in Europe ended.

It seems so. Pinochet & Marcos got people murdered or jailed... Anti-communism was one of the reasons why the USA backed them... Also a reason why they fought in Vietnam. I'm not saying the Americans are angels, but somehow they defend freedom at some point

Powers are always interested in something just like individuals, it's human... But if one can stop dictators at the same time, it's a good thing

Struthiomimus or how you outrun your predator - late Cretaceous. Speed estimates for this ostrich-like species reach 50-80 km/h

The weight of the tank put much stress on the transmission... Maintenance wasn't easy, it guzzled a lot of gaz... It could be destroyed with various means... The Allied came up with several concepts for super heavy tanks, but it took time... T28 is an example. The Super Pershing was used very late
