a lil tribute for jimothy

a tribute to jimothy the precious short spine raccoon made of red pencil, ink, and prisma markers. he squats on his hind legs and holds an apple, he contemplates his life now that he has become a celebrity and what that means for him moving forward

Dragon Posting 🐉🌝

illustration made for year of the dragon! a green dragon stands in front of a warm pink and pinkish red checkerboard background. there are flowers, stars, and a moon. The flaming pearl/dragon ball that the dragon is gripping in their left hand (at least what I've heard from fam/fam friends) connects to wisdom and prosperity as well as the moon. The dragon itself was designed for the Earth Year dragon and has branch-like horns with flowers growing from them. the tendrils of its mane flow background as its body contorts away into the background....although it's not the most dynamic pose. maybe it's time to make another one :)

goofy sketch that I’ve been sitting on for a bit. Took it to ECCC && tried finishing up the pencils for it during my flight, at the hotel, and at the con! Hoping to ink it when I get home (after annoying my cat 🥹)

Red pencil sketch of a figure reading a book with a bunch of creatures cozying up to them in the space, from a goblin holding the top, a ghost grabbing her shoe, the tops of the ears of a cat peeking over the arm, an elemental on her head, a pair or some kind of elf with laying on their stomach listening, a patterned lizard in shorts with a hat behind her and a large round bird with a cone hat on her side, also patterned. Not everyone looks interested or maybe it’s just that not every creature actually understands. The main figure looks out toward the viewer, aware of the silliness of the situation. Around the image is a border of circles and magic with books and little fluff balls on the top and bottom.

See this? QRT with your ghost art 👻💀 #horrorart #illustration #ghost

figure with orange hair sits on a bench in library and looks through a window that has become a portal to another plane. next to them is a spell book that makes it seem like this was a planned ritual. on the other side of the portal is a ghost grinning it's spectral hands are up as though to connect with the orange haired figures hand. there are corvids sitting in the trees looking down at the interaction. there is a border around the entire illustration of ghosts holding candle sticks and creeping around the border as though they want to peer into the scene as well. On the top and bottom of the border are ravens and surrounded by linear designs. In the center of the border are two skulls merging together. it's all quite linear and stylized with some fun guesstimates in regard to perspective. the colors are blues and browns, with a warmth to the figure and the wood on their side of the portal. the blues are primarily in the border and on the side with the ghosts.

abra is my ultimate, but I'm a sucker for the cute birdos in pokemon

the new starter Pokemon Browt waving their wing and being a cute lil bean chick with a heart bubble above their head. behind the pokemon sits a line-art figure that is crying at the cuteness with their hands together in a prayer hoping that it actually stays as cute/cool in its evolutions. rowlet stands by the figure it's wing on their arm glaring with little star eyes at the new grassy bird type as if to say "excuse you, I am right here, I am the eldest boy"

merry christmas && happy holidays! this was the holiday card I made from last year, tried to illustrate just a few of my favorite traditions~! (hoping to finish this years card before 2026….!)

Christmas card that shows a figure reading a book by the fire they are surrounded by a variety of holiday traditions - gifts, a white elephant, gingerbread that are running away from a little yule cat! On the fireplace there’s a wreath with ornaments on it (including the Christmas pickle) a bird drinks coffee, there’a a snowman in a snow globe, a Yule goat, an annoyed little orange, and a small dragon that is breathing flames onto the fire. There’s a stocking on the mantle as well! There’s an elf on a shelf in the background and the the figure that sits in the chair has two characters of my own (a cat-like creature and a skeleton that are wearing Santa hats) that peer around the chair at the figure reading while the fire burns bright!

hi hi i'm ren. just an illustrator who likes to mix traditional and digital together to make silly little pictures. i like warm colors, vintage furniture, modern magic, and odd creatures i've worked in fashion, tabletop games, and some publishing. you can see more at renattack.com

collage cut paper ink drawings with digital colors of two humanoid figures (a bird and a mushroom) with an umbrella and little water droplets jumping down. normal geese (or as normal as those angry lil birds can be) stand around their feet waiting for something, is it the bread the bird carries? or maybe they want to understand why they don't have a humanoid body too, why are they still geese? and why are they always just so angry? also the background is a floral pattern!

titled summer - kid sitting under a tree with a book on their head sleeping in the sun while a little squirrel friend approaches the border is a mix of squirrels and strawberries and flowers and the colors are soft and warm, with greens, yellows, and reds

me - figure sitting on a set of children's blocks spelling out REN there is a cat sitting with her and a pestering bird attacking (wren attack? maybe) on the ground are candles, books, sketchbooks, pens, paints, daffodils, dice, tarot cards, a kiwi bird, a computer, the painting the yellow scale by František Kupka, a steaming cup of tea, and music notes drifting back up toward the figure sitting on the blocks

I made it in! Now to figure out who else is here and how to find them. for now, here is a photo of my sleeping #cat

cute little kitten sleeping on their lil back with their lil paws up in the air and a look of absolute contentment on their sleeping face (who knows if it's actually contentment, but I'd like to think so at least considering she is a cat with a lot of humans who adore her)
